AOD-9604 injection site soreness – has anyone else felt that?

I started AOD-9604 at 300 mcg each morning fasted about three weeks ago. For the first few days the shot felt fine, but then I noticed a dull ache at the injection spot that lasted a few hours. It wasn’t bad enough to stop, but it was noticeable enough that I started rotating sites more carefully and using a fresh alcohol wipe each time.

I also got a mild headache once or twice, though I’m not sure if that’s related or just dehydration. Has anyone else run into similar soreness or headaches with this peptide? If so, did you find anything that helped – like changing the time of day, diluting differently, or adding a bit of zinc to the mix? Just looking for real‑world tips before I keep going.

  • fasted_scientist: Ngl I’ve felt that dull ache with AOD‑9604 too – it started after about a week and hung around for a couple of hours each morning. I switched to a 29‑g insulin needle, made sure the solution was fully dissolved and used a fresh alcohol wipe every time, and the soreness dropped off. Rotating between belly fat and thigh helped as well. The occasional headache I put down to not drinking enough water; upping my intake cleared it. Nothing fancy, just basic injection hygiene and hydration seemed to d
  • tracker_jade: I’ll grab a 29‑g insulin needle and be stricter about rotating between belly and thigh. Did you notice any difference in how the peptide felt after switching needles, or was it just the soreness that improved?
  • nof1_weekend: I had the same dull ache after about five days and switched to a 29‑g needle too, making sure the peptide was fully dissolved. Rotating sites helped and drinking more water killed the occasional headache. Tbh, simple fixes worked for me as well.
  • tracker_jade: Thanks for the reply. I’ve been using a 30‑g needle and rotating sites, but haven’t tried a 29‑g yet. Did you notice the ache drop right after switching gauge? I’ll up my water intake and see if the headaches ease.
