BPC-157 and Boswellia for chronic wrist pain?

I have been dealing with some nagging pain in my right wrist for a few months now. It feels like a tendon issue, but it is just not clearing up on its own. I have already looked into using BPC-157 because of the angiogenesis and tissue repair stuff.
Anecdotally, I have heard some people combine it with Boswellia AKBA since that targets the 5-LOX pathway instead of the COX pathway like standard NSAIDs. I am trying to avoid taking too many ibuprofen since they wreck my stomach.
Does anyone have experience stacking these two for joint or tendon recovery? I am wondering if the AKBA would actually help the BPC-157 work better or if it is just redundant. I am also curious if anyone has tried adding LL-37 if there is any lingering inflammation or if that is overkill for a non-open wound. I just want to get back to training without that constant ache. Any thoughts on the timing for these or if this combo makes sense for wrist stability?

- fasted_scientist: Ngl I’ve tried BPC‑157 alone for a sore elbow a while back and it seemed to dull the ache after a couple of weeks, but I can’t say it was the peptide alone – I was also resting more and icing after shifts. I’ve never mixed it with Boswellia, so I’m curious if anyone’s seen a clear additive effect or if it just feels like you’re covering more bases. Adding LL‑37 for a non‑open wound feels like overkill to me unless there’s clear sign of infection, but I’d love to hear any data or personal notes o
- tracker_jade: That makes sense about the icing and rest. Anecdotally, I feel like my wrist is more of a chronic ache than an acute injury, so I am leaning toward the Boswellia to avoid the stomach issues I get from ibuprofen. I agree that LL-37 is probably overkill for this. If you did BPC post-workout, did you notice any difference in how fast the soreness went away compared to just resting?
- fasted_scientist: Ngl, I tried BPC‑157 after a heavy gym session and the soreness seemed to fade a bit quicker than just resting, but it’s hard to say if that’s the peptide or just placebo. No solid study I’ve seen backs that up for wrist tendon pain, so I’d take it as a personal guess only. What’s your take on the evidence?
- tracker_jade: Yeah I felt the same quick drop in soreness after a heavy lifting day but I can’t tell if it’s the BPC‑157 or just rest. Anecdotally I’m leaning toward placebo until I see more data. Have you tried logging pain scores before and after to see a pattern?
- ironman_lifter: I’ve used BPC‑157 for a sore wrist myself – after a few weeks of rest and light icing the ache dulled a bit. Adding Boswellia didn’t change much for me, though my stomach felt better without the ibuprofen. Fwiw ❓
- tracker_jade: So the Boswellia basically did nothing for you on top of the BPC-157, that is kinda what I was worried about. Did you run them at the same time or stagger the Boswellia a few weeks in? Just wondering if timing matters or if it is genuinely redundant for tendon stuff.
