TB-500 for a nagging elbow tendonitis, any dosing timing around physio?

I’ve been dealing with elbow tendonitis that flares up whenever I spend a lot of time grading papers or lifting boxes in the classroom. It’s not a tear, just a persistent ache that limits my grip and makes writing on the board uncomfortable. I’ve rested it, iced it, and done the usual PT stretches but the pain lingers after a few weeks. I’ve read that TB-500 is sometimes used for tendon and ligament repair and I’m curious if anyone here has tried it for a similar overuse injury.

  • fasted_scientist: Ngl I gave TB-500 a go for a similar elbow ache after months of desk work and light lifting. 5mg subQ twice a week, timed it about an hour before my physio sessions so I could move the joint a bit more freely during the stretches. It seemed to dull the soreness a bit after a couple of weeks, but I can’t say if it was the peptide or just the extra mobility work. Did you notice any difference in grip strength when you tried it?
  • tracker_jade: Haven’t started TB-500 yet, still in the research phase. Your 5mg subQ twice weekly and timing before physio sounds similar to what I was thinking. Did you feel any change in your grip strength after a few weeks, or was it mostly just less soreness during stretches?
  • tracker_jade: Anecdotally, the grip strength thing is what I'd wanna track too. Did you test it objectively or just go by feel? I feel like grip is easy to fool yourself on when the soreness dips. Also curious if you kept up the TB after those couple weeks or tapered off.
  • sleep_coastal: On grip being easy to fool yourself on. Anecdotally I used a cheap hand dynamometer, the kind you squeeze, and tracked it same time each morning. Took about three readings and used the best one. Soreness dipping definitely made me THINK my grip was better before the numbers actually moved. For me the real jump came around week three. I tapered down after that rather than just stopping cold, seemed to hold the improvement better but could just be coincidence.
  • tracker_jade: The dynamometer idea is smart, I was just going off how the board writing felt which is pretty subjective. Did you track anything else besides grip numbers, like pain with specific movements? And when you say tapered down, what did that look like, just fewer days per week or lower dose each time?
