Ipamorelin split dosing – morning shot vs pre-bed, any real difference in GH pulse?

I’ve been running ipamorelin at 200mcg a day for a few weeks now and I keep wondering if splitting it makes any noticeable difference. I’ve tried taking the whole dose right before bed and also doing 100mcg when I wake up and another 100mcg pre‑sleep. Subjectively I felt a bit sharper in the mornings with the split, but my sleep tracker didn’t show a clear change in deep sleep or recovery scores.

Ngl I’m not sure if that’s just placebo or if the 2‑hour half‑life means the morning shot is mostly gone by night. I’ve read that ipamorelin’s selectivity keeps cortisol and prolactin low, but I haven’t seen solid data on how timing affects the actual GH pulse amplitude in humans. Does anyone here have blood work or consistent subjective markers that show a real benefit to splitting vs a single nightly dose? Would love to hear what you’ve noticed, especially if you’ve tried both for a few weeks and compared.

  • rational_climbs: I’ve tried both ways with ipamorelin at 200mcg daily for about six weeks total. The morning 100mcg dose usually wears off well before bed given the ~2‑hour half‑life, so i didn’t see a clear bump in nighttime gh pulses from it. What i did notice was a slight uptick in daytime energy and less hunger when i split the dose, but my sleep scores stayed flat. I never got blood work on gh or igf‑1 during those phases, so i can’t say if the split changed overall igf‑1 levels. If you have access to a mo

It's interesting that you also saw no change in sleep scores despite the energy bump. I reckon the morning dose is basically useless for GH pulses by bedtime if the half-life is that short. Do you think doing the split dose at wider intervals, like midday, would do anything or is it just a waste of a shot?
