Sermorelin before bed – did anyone notice better sleep or recovery?

I’ve been trying sermorelin 250mcg subcut each night for about four weeks now, mainly to see if it helps with my sleep quality and recovery after long ICU shifts. I’m not claiming any miracle effects, just sharing what I’ve felt. For me, dropping off seemed a bit easier and I woke up feeling less groggy, though that could just be placebo or the fact I’ve been more consistent with my bedtime routine.
Recovery wise, my muscles didn’t feel noticeably less sore after tough workouts, but I did notice a slight improvement in skin texture on my forearms – nothing dramatic. I’m curious if others have seen clearer changes in sleep depth or GH-related benefits like better fat loss or lean gains when using sermorelin alone, or if stacking it with something like ipamorelin makes a bigger difference. Would love to hear your experiences and any studies you’ve come across that actually measure pulse patterns with this peptide.

- tracker_jade: I tried sermorelin 250mcg subQ nightly for six weeks while juggling night shifts at the hospital. Anedotally I fell asleep a bit faster and woke up feeling a touch clearer, but I can’t rule out the stricter lights‑out routine I started at the same time. Muscle soreness after lifting didn’t change much, though I did notice my skin on the hands felt a tad smoother. I haven’t stacked it with ipamorelin yet – curious if anyone saw a bigger sleep or recovery bump when they combined the two. Any thou
- tired_gains: Not gonna lie, i felt the same faster sleep onset but chalked it up to winding down earlier. Never tried ipamorelin with it, but taking sermorelin on an empty stomach seemed to make the effect a bit sharper for me.
- fasted_scientist: Ngl I was thinking the same about the sleep thing, it is hard to tell if it is the peptide or just my new routine. I have been taking mine about two hours after my last meal, so I will try taking it on a totally empty stomach next week to see if that makes it sharper like you said. Do you find you have to wait a certain amount of time after eating for it to work?
- fasted_scientist: Ngl, it sounds like we had a very similar experience with the skin changes. I noticed it on my forearms, you mentioned your hands, so that's interesting. I've been keeping a few hours between my last meal and the shot to avoid insulin interference, but I'm not sure if that's actually doing much for the sleep side of things. Do you think the timing matters more for the GH pulse or just for the sleep quality?
