Trying oral BPC-157 for a nagging elbow tendonitis – any timing tips with physio?

I’ve been dealing with elbow tendonitis from too much laptop work and occasional lifting, the kind that flares up after a long day of typing and doesn’t fully go away with rest alone. A few weeks ago I started trying the oral BPC-157 arginine salt, about 500 mcg once in the morning before breakfast, just because I read it’s gut‑stable and might help systemic inflammation. I’m not claiming it’s a cure, but for me the soreness seemed to ease a bit after maybe ten days, and I noticed less stiffness when I started my physio stretches again.

I’m wondering if anyone here has tried timing the dose around their rehab sessions – like taking it an hour before therapy or after – to see if it makes a difference in how the tissue responds. I’ve kept the same low‑intensity routine, just added the peptide, and I’m trying to stay consistent with ice and light eccentric work. Would love to hear what’s worked for others or if it’s just placebo.

Also, any gut‑related side effects to watch for? I haven’t felt nausea yet, but I’m keeping an eye on it. Thanks for any input.

I took 500 µg about 45 minutes before my physio session, mostly because I thought having it in the system might calm any inflammation during the stretches. For me the soreness felt a tad less after a couple of weeks, but I can’t say if that was the peptide or just sticking to the eccentric work more consistently. I didn’t notice any gut upset – no nausea or weird bowel changes – but I kept the dose low and took it with a sm

It could just be placebo for sure. I might try that 45 minute window before my next session to see if it feels any different, but I will probably keep the snack part too since I do not want any issues while I am at the clinic.
  • tracker_jade: I’ve tried oral BPC‑157 for elbow tendonitis too. I take 250 µg right before PT and another 250 µg after, just to see if splitting helps. Haven’t noticed gut issues. Does splitting change anything for you?
  • rowan_k: Here's a thought: I appreciate you sharing your split‑dose routine. I’ve been taking the full 500 µg all at once in the morning, so breaking it into two smaller amounts around my PT sessions is worth considering. I’m curious whether the timing with the stretches themselves matters more than the total daily amount, or if having it in your system during the work might be what’s making the difference for you. Have you noticed any change in how the soreness feels the next day compared to when you t
