KLOW vs GLOW for a stubborn Achilles, is the extra KPV worth it?

Anecdotally I keep going back and forth on this and wanted to ask people who've actually run both.
Background, I've been dealing with a slow-healing Achilles tendinopathy for a few months now. I've already done a standard BPC + TB-500 run and it helped but I'm still not where I want to be. Considering jumping into the KLOW stack since I keep hearing it pulls double duty on inflammation, which my tendon seems to need.
For anyone who's actually run KLOW, did you notice a real difference adding KPV versus just running the GLOW combo? I know KPV is supposed to hit NF-kB and calm systemic inflammation, but anecdotally I can't tell if that's meaningful at the joint level or if it's more of a whole-body feel thing.
Also timing question. The plan is GHK-Cu and TB-500 2-3x a week, BPC and KPV daily. For the daily BPC/KPV pin, morning or night? I've been doing BPC at night historically but wasn't sure if KPV plays nicer at a different time.
Curious what people who've healed similar stuff have landed on.

- tiredmira: GLOW was enough for a stubborn Achilles issue I was dealing with last year, but I will say the KPV seemed to take the edge off in a way I didn't expect. More of a general "background inflammation" feel than anything joint-specific, so hard to say if it actually did more at the tendon or just made me sleep better and recover between sessions. The mechanism sounds right for what you're describing though, so I get why you're leaning that direction. For the daily pin, I do mornings because KPV on
- tracker_jade: Yeah the sleep angle is interesting because mine is already garbage from the Achilles flaring up whenever I lay on it weird. I hadn't really connected KPV to sleep quality but if it's calming that whole-body inflammatory load it could be doing more than I thought. I'll probably just stick with nights for the BPC since that's been working, and try KPV in the morning since you said it goes down easier that way. My gut's kinda sensitive so good to know ahead of time. One thing I'm wondering, did
- vik_b: Yeah that "background inflammation" thing is exactly what im curious about. My Achilles flares up but theres also just a general achiness everywhere after training, so if KPV tones that down as a side effect, its basically a bonus for me. Interesting about the empty stomach thing, I usually pin at night so maybe ill try morning this round and see if it makes any difference. How long did you run it before you felt the edge-off effect?
- tracker_jade: Honestly took me like 3 weeks before I noticed the background noise quieting down, and even then it was subtle, not a light switch. The tendon itself felt better sooner, maybe week 2, but the whole-body achiness thing crept in gradually. I think I kept second-guessing it until I stopped for a few days and could tell the difference. Give it a real month before you judge it.
- fasted_scientist: Ngl I ran KPV alongside GLOW for the full 4 weeks, didn't notice extra sleep boost but tendon felt a bit less sore mornings. Could just be placebo tbh. Did you track any morning stiffness scores?
- tracker_jade: I did log morning stiffness on a 0‑10 scale each day. With just GLOW I averaged around 5.2, and after adding KPV for four weeks it dropped to about 3.8. Felt less “tight” getting out of bed, though I can’t rule out placebo either. Did you notice any change in swelling or just soreness?
- tracker_jade: I didn’t log stiffness scores, just noted how the tendon felt when I first stood up. After three weeks on KLOW I felt less morning tightness than with GLOW alone, though it’s hard to say if it’s real or placebo. Did you see any change in overall soreness outside the tendon?
