First week with Adamax intranasal – focus, mood and any sides?

Hey everyone, I decided to try Adamax intranasal after reading about it as a Semax analog. I used a low dose (around 200mcg) each morning for seven days, just to see how it felt. For me the first couple days felt a bit like a mild caffeine bump – I noticed I could stay on task a little longer during my grad readings and my mind didn’t wander as much during lectures.

By day three the effect seemed smoother, less jittery, and I also felt a slight lift in mood that lasted into the afternoon. I didn’t get any headaches, but I did notice a tiny bit of nasal irritation after the spray, which went away after I rinsed with saline. Sleep wasn’t disturbed, but I did stay up a bit later one night because I felt more alert than usual, so I’d probably dose earlier next time.

Fwiw, I’m curious if anyone else has tried Adamax and noticed similar or different effects, especially with longer use. Would love to hear your logs or any tweaks you’ve made to the routine.

  • amber464: I tried Adamax intranasal at about 250mcg each morning for ten days just to see how it felt. The first two days gave me a subtle wake‑up push, kind of like a weak coffee, and I could power through reading blocks a bit longer. By day four the edge softened and I noticed a steadier mood lift that carried into the early evening, though I did get a light tickle in my nostrils that cleared with a quick saline rinse. Sleep stayed solid, but I did shift my dose to before noon after one night I stayed
  • cora_zone2: Sounds familiar – I also saw the mood lift smooth out after a few days and the nasal tickle cleared with a saline spray. I haven’t logged reaction time, but my HRV actually rose a bit (≈3 ms) on the third night, then settled back. Do you plan to try a later‑day dose again, or stick to mornings? 🙂
  • chemist_daily: I’m definitely leaning toward sticking with mornings – the evening alertness made me push bedtime a bit later, which isn’t ideal for my grad work schedule. I might experiment with a tiny half‑dose around 2 pm just to see if it smooths out the afternoon slump without messing up sleep. ⚡
  • chemist_daily: That lines up a lot with what I saw – I also moved the dose earlier after that one late night. I haven’t logged reaction time or HRV yet, but I did start a simple 5‑minute Stroop test each morning and saw about a 0.2‑second drop by day 4. I’ll try adding a quick HRV reading from my Oura ring tomorrow and see if there’s any trend.
