MGF and IGF-1 LR3 same day, does the timing matter

Running the Performance Stack right now and got my head around most of it but one thing I'm still fuzzy on.
I've got IGF-1 LR3 at 50mcg post-workout and MGF at 200mcg post-workout. My question is do I actually need to separate these or can I just pin them at the same time? The half-life on native MGF is stupid short like 5 minutes so I always assumed you pinned it immediately after training, but I'm using the PEG version now and the info sheet says 24 to 48 hour half-life which is wild different.
Anecdotally I was doing them together for a couple weeks and felt like I was recovering okay but I'm getting paranoid now. Is there a reason you wouldn't want both activating satellite cells at the same time? Like does MGF and IGF-1 compete for the same receptors or something? I'm not trying to waste my peptides on redundant mechanisms if there's no point.
Also wondering if stacking them daily is overkill or if that's actually what people run. I train 5 days a week upper lower so daily post-workout dosing fits my schedule but idk if less frequent MGF dosing makes more sense given the PEG extended half-life. What are people actually doing with this stack in practice?

- liam468: Honestly I'm new to MGF so don't take this as gospel, but from what I've read they're hitting different parts of the satellite cell cycle. MGF is more about the initial activation and local repair response right after training, while IGF-1 LR3 is more about the proliferation phase that follows. With the PEG version having that longer half life, separate timing might actually matter less than with native, but I'd still want to pin the MGF as close to failing set as I could just to play it safe.
- tracker_jade: Yeah the proliferation vs activation split is kind of how I've been thinking about it too. The reason I started second-guessing the same-day pinning was I read somewhere that they can both hit the IGF-1 receptor and if they're both firing at the same time you might just be doubling up without actually getting two separate signals. Not sure if that's legit or just something I made up in my head though. The PEG half-life being 24+ hours kinda changes things right? Like if MGF is just hanging arou
- sanjay_j: Yeah the satellite cell framing makes sense to me, but honestly "activation vs proliferation" sounds more like a textbook story than something someone has actually measured in humans with these two pinned post-workout. Fwiw I would still keep some gap between them, even with the PEG-MGF. The whole point of MGF timing is the local response right after mechanical overload, so diluting that signal with a systemic IGF-1 spike at the same second feels off to me.
- tracker_jade: You're right, I can't actually point to a human study measuring this in vivo, that's fair pushback. I was treating the textbook framing as if it was proven when it's really more of a working model. I'll start splitting them up, MGF right at the rack and IGF-1 maybe 20 to 30 min after once I'm showered and home. If I notice anything different recovery-wise over the next few weeks I'll come back and update.
