TB-500 dosing frequency for a slow-healing peroneal tendon, 2x vs 3x weekly?

Dealing with a peroneal tendon issue that has been hanging around for months, the kind where it feels 80% then you push one long run and its back to square one. Been running BPC inject at 250mcg daily for about 6 weeks now and it has helped for sure but the tendon is still grumpy on the lateral line after harder efforts.
Thinking about adding TB-500 into the mix since this thing is clearly not a local healing problem anymore, more like a systemic signaling issue at this point. The wolverine stack profile here says TB-500 2x/week at 2.5mg but ive also seen people online do 3x or even split smaller doses more often.
For a stubborn tendon like this what has actually worked for people? Also does the TB injection site matter much, like do you pin near the tendon or just somewhere convenient like the delt? Ngl i am a little hesitant to add another compound when BPC alone is already helping, but this is taking too long to resolve and i have ultras coming up in the spring.

- nerdytheo: Tbh i would hold off on adding another compound until you actually figure out why the tendon keeps flaring back up. Six weeks of BPC helping but not finishing the job usually means the loading pattern is still wrong, not that you need more chemistry on top. What finally got my achilles to quit relapsing was cutting run volume by like a third and swapping some miles for bike work. The tendon got a real chance to calm down between harder efforts. Strength work for the peroneals and lateral line m
- rational_squats: Yeah this is the right call. I chased a similar ankle thing for way too long just adding stuff when the real issue was I wasn't letting it settle. Cutting volume sucked but the boring single leg calf raise work and pulling back on harder runs is what actually moved the needle for me too 🙋
- fasted_scientist: Yeah this is the bit that gets missed a lot ngl. People want to throw more peptides at a problem that's basically a programming issue. BPC helped, good, but if you're still smashing the same run volume the tendon is never going to get the actual rest window it needs to remodel properly. Cutting volume and doing the boring banded eversion work is unglamorous but it's where most of the gains tend to come from in my experience.
- grinder265: Fair point and i hear you on the volume thing, i did drop my long run from 22 to 14 miles about 3 weeks ago which probably explains why im at 80% now. The boring banded eversion stuff i admittedly have been lazy with, like maybe 2x a week at best. Bumping that to daily makes sense before adding another compound. Did you ever actually run TB-500 alongside BPC or were you saying skip it altogether?
- grinder265: Yeah bro the boring rehab work is the thing i keep avoiding honestly. I can stack every peptide in the world but if i keep doing 20 mile mountain runs every other weekend the tendon is gonna keep barking. How long did you actually pull back volume before it stopped flaring up? Thats the part i cant figure out, like is it 2 weeks, 6 weeks, longer?
- grinder265: Fair point on the loading pattern, I have been kinda half-assing the progressive load structure honestly. Ran a half two weeks ago when it felt decent and that was probably dumb. The bike swap is actually something I should try, I have a trainer gathering dust. Did you find that volume cut alone was enough or did the cardio mix change matter more? NgL I always feel like cycling just pisses off tendons that hate running anyway but maybe I was doing it wrong. Single leg calf raises and banded ev
