Insomnia after evening 5‑Amino‑1MQ doses – how late is too late?

Hey folks, I’ve been testing 5‑Amino‑1MQ for a few weeks now, 75 mg twice a day to help with energy and a bit of fat loss. The first week was fine, but on the third day I took the second dose at about 9 pm and found myself lying awake until after 2 am. It wasn’t a typical “can’t fall asleep” feeling, more like my brain was buzzing and I couldn’t relax.
I moved the evening dose to 5 pm and the problem disappeared, but I’m wondering if anyone else has seen a similar pattern or knows a safe cutoff time. I’ve also tried a small amount of magnesium before bed, no help. My bloodwork this morning showed a slight rise in fasting glucose, but nothing dramatic.
Any thoughts on how to schedule the doses to avoid the sleeplessness? Should I cut the total daily amount or just keep it earlier? Appreciate any tips on minimizing this side effect while still getting the metabolic boost. Thanks.

I haven’t tried three‑times‑a‑day yet, but I could do 50 mg at 8 am, 50 mg at 1 pm and a 50 mg at 5 pm to see if it smooths out the energy without the night buzz. I’ll keep the total at 150 mg and report back if the sleep improves.
