Layering GHK-Cu into a wolverine run for a nagging shoulder, overkill or worth it?

I have been running the basic wolverine stack for what it is worth on a cranky supraspinatus that just will not quit, been about 5 weeks and the tendon pain is maybe 30% better which is progress but slow. I keep reading about people adding GHK-Cu into the mix at like 200mcg a few times a week and honestly the science on collagen remodeling makes sense to me, but i am not sure if i am chasing marginal gains or actually stacking the deck in my favor. For anyone who has run wolverine solo first and then layered in GHK-Cu on a similar tendon issue, did you actually notice a meaningful difference in the second stretch of healing or was it more of a skin and cosmetic thing that you could feel?

Also curious about timing, do you pin it on the same days as TB-500 or spread it out, and did you run it daily for a bit then taper? Trying to figure out if i should commit to another 6 weeks of the combo or just stay the course on plain wolverine and let it cook longer.

  • retired_coldplunge: I ran plain wolverine for the first 4 weeks on a cranky elbow tendon and honestly the progress felt slow, similar to what you are describing. Adding GHK-Cu around 200mcg a few times a week did seem to move the needle for me in weeks 5 to 8, but I cannot tell you how much of that was the GHK-Cu versus just the wolverine finally hitting its stride. Fwiw the second stretch of healing did feel like it picked up, but it was not night and day. I pinned it on different days than TB-500 just to keep m
  • josh_mobility: Yeah, I felt a similar bump after adding GHK‑Cu weeks 5‑8, though it’s hard to split it from the wolverine finally catching up. Did you notice any change in shoulder mobility or just pain? 🩹
  • skeptical_recovery: Yeah that tracks with what I saw on my own shoulder a while back. The first month on wolverine alone felt kind of meh for me too, and adding GHK-Cu around week 5 was when things seemed to finally loosen up. I never could fully separate whether it was the new peptide or just accumulated time on the stack. Splitting it off from TB-500 like you did was smart, way easier to keep track.
  • nomad_brandon: The accumulated time thing is exactly my worry, hard to know if i am finally hitting the curve or if the copper peptide is actually pulling weight. Did you run yours daily or like every other day and at what concentration, because 200mcg is the number i keep seeing thrown around but i have no idea if people are just copying each other or if there is actual reason behind it.
  • nomad_brandon: Honestly the pain has been the main thing i have been tracking, like getting out of bed and reaching overhead is still a twinge but i would say it has gone from a sharp 6 or 7 to a dull 3, mobility feels about the same though which is frustrating. You said weeks 5 to 8 gave you the bump, were you still pinning the wolverine at that point or had you tapered off by then, because i am trying to figure out if i should hold the bpc and tb-500 steady and just add ghk-cu or start trimming the rest back
  • nomad_brandon: Good to hear i am not the only one who felt the second stretch started doing something, that tracks with what i am hoping for honestly. And to be fair it has been more pain than mobility so far, like the range is still kinda capped when i reach behind my back but the sharp ache during pullovers is way down. Did your mobility catch up later in the run or did the pain relief just kinda plateau?
  • nomad_brandon: Glad you saw something similar with that slow first month, that makes me feel less crazy about the 30% number. The 3x a week split from TB-500 actually tracks with what i was thinking, less to keep straight on the calendar too. Did you pin subcutaneous or IM for the shoulder area, and did you pin anywhere near the joint or just belly fat? Trying to decide if local matters for a tendon issue or if it is just systemic either way. For what it is worth i am leaning toward committing to another 6 we
