TB4-Frag daily vs full length TB-500 2x week, anyone switched and noticed a difference?

5mg twice a week for the last couple cycles and it always seems to do the job for general recovery and keeping my tendons happy, but i keep seeing people talk about tb4-frag being the better option because of the shorter half life and better tissue penetration, for what it is worth i kinda wanna try it but the dosing is so different it is hard to know where to start. 5mg twice a week even though the total weekly amount kinda sorta lines up if you do the math. My question is has anyone here actually run both back to back and felt a real difference in healing speed or inflammation, or is the frag mostly just marketing?
I am dealing with a cranky achilles that flares up when i push the volume on training and i am trying to figure out if switching to daily frag shots would be worth the extra pinning versus just sticking with what i know. Also wondering about timing, like does the shorter half life mean you really need to pin close to the injury site or does it still go systemic the same way. Any input appreciated.

- retired_coldplunge: I ran TB-500 for about 4 months and liked it, then switched to TB4-frag daily because honestly the twice a week pinning bugged me, fwiw. With the frag I went around 2-3mg daily and honestly could not tell you with any certainty that it healed anything faster than the longer one did. Both felt pretty systemic to me, I never did any fancy local pinning and my achilles (which is also my problem child from years of squatting heavy and coaching classes) seemed to settle the same either way. For wha
- megan_t: Not gonna lie the "better tissue penetration" thing always sounded like one of those things people repeat until it becomes gospel, so hearing you couldnt tell a difference is honestly useful data point for me. Did you ever try local pinning with the frag or was it purely systemic the whole time?
- marcus617: Yeah the pinning thing was what put me off too, twice a week i can manage but it just sits in the back of my mind. With the daily i figured i would notice something obvious if frag really was better for tendons but honestly didnt either, same achilles story here basically. Reckon ill probably just stick with what i know works and save the hassle.
- nomad_brandon: Yeah for what it is worth that kinda tracks with my gut feeling honestly, if i can not find anyone saying frag blew tb-500 out of the water for tendon stuff specifically then i am probably just chasing a marginal gain that does not exist. Did you run them back to back at all or just sample each one on its own?
- nomad_brandon: Honestly never tried local, i was always told subq in the stomach was fine for the shorter chain and i just went with that. Did you ever notice a difference pinning close to the achilles vs just doing it systemic?
- nomad_brandon: Yeah honestly that is kinda where i was leaning too, i have heard the tissue penetration thing thrown around a lot but never seen anything real behind it, just people repeating it. The daily pinning is what gets me though, going from 2 shots a week to 7 feels like a lot just for something that may or may not be better. What dose of frag did you end up settling on, you said 2-3mg, did you go higher on bad days or stay flat the whole run?
