Anyone actually run TB4 frag on its own for a stubborn tendon?

Been dealing with a cranky proximal biceps tendon for months now. Physio is fine but progress is painfully incremental and i'm losing patience tbh.

I've done the standard wolverine combo before with good results but wanted to ask, has anyone here actually used TB4 frag solo, like without BPC-157 alongside it? The profile mentions better tissue penetration because of the smaller size and that seems relevant for tendons where blood flow is rubbish.

Logically it sounds promising but i want to hear from people who've actually done it rather than just reading marketing copy. How did it compare to running the full TB-500 for tendon stuff, and did you notice anything different in recovery speed or the actual quality of the tissue repair?

Also how long before you'd call it a wash and bail on it. 4 weeks? 8? I don't want to sit on something that's doing nothing for two months when i could be doing proper loading work instead.

  • nomad_brandon: I've ran tb4 frag solo for a nagging elbow tendon issue a while back, no bpc alongside it. For what it is worth, my experience was it felt gentler than the full tb-500 but the recovery seemed slower to kick in, like week 3 before i noticed much. Tissue quality at the end felt solid to me but i can't separate that from the loading work i was doing at the same time, could've just been that. Compared to the wolverine stack i'd done before, the frag alone felt noticeably weaker honestly. Probably m
  • humbleomar229: Cheers for the proper writeup, that's exactly the kind of answer i was after. Slower onset around week 3 lines up with what i've seen anecdotally elsewhere too. "feels gentler but weaker" is kind of what i suspected tbh. Might still give it a solo run for 6 weeks since i want to see what each piece does on its own, then if it's pants i'll just stack the bpc back in.
  • tracker_jade: Yeah that tracks with what i've read, anecdotally most people seem to say frag solo is way milder than running it with bpc. The slower onset part is interesting though, did you keep dosing the whole 6 weeks or taper at any point? Also curious how often you were injecting and whether you stuck to local or went systemic for that elbow.
  • humbleomar229: Yeah i kept it consistent the whole 6 weeks, no taper. Started at 250mcg twice a week and bumped to 300mcg after week 3 because i wasn't really feeling much at the lower dose. Went local, subq right near the tendon, alternating sides of the joint. Honestly the systemic route seems pointless for something this specific. Slower onset is the right way to put it though, didn't really notice anything till maybe week 4 and then it was gradual rather than a switch flipping. Nothing like bpc which i'v
