Plateau week 6 on tirz, am I the only one who wants to eat the entire fridge

Right so I'm about 6 weeks into tirz and the appetite suppression that had me skipping meals and looking at chips like they were an ex has just evaporated. I'm hungry again, properly hungry, and I'm annoyed about it. I've only moved up once so far, on the starter, so maybe that's the issue.
For me the first month was class, barely thought about food, dropped about 6 pounds. Then this week I've been prowling the kitchen at 10pm like a stray cat. Sleep is grand, training is grand, nothing else has changed. Could just be a stall that breaks, but it feels like the dose has stopped pulling its weight.
Anyone else hit this exact wall around week 6? Did pushing the dose up actually fix it or just add nausea to the hunger. Also open to hearing what people did alongside it that actually seemed to help, within reason.

- reads_labrat: Oh yeah I remember that wall lol. The first month felt like magic and then suddenly I'm standing in front of the fridge at 11pm wondering where my willpower went. For me it did break after like 10 days, just stalled not reversed. I only titrated up when the hunger stuck around past week 7 and the scale sat flat for another week. Pushing the dose too early made me kinda queasy without actually killing the cravings, so I'd hold off if I were you. What seemed to help most was just eating a ridicu
- sanjay750: Yeah that tracks. Protein was the move for me too, i usually do around 40 to 50g per meal and it took the edge off when tirz quieted down. How long did you sit at the starter dose before bumping, and did splitting the dose into two shots a week change anything for you?
- recovery_former: Solid advice. For me the protein thing was the biggest unlock too, around 40 to 50g per meal made a real difference on the days the suppression faded. Holding the dose until the stall actually sticks for a full week or more is probably the smarter call, like you said, going up too soon just trades hunger for nausea without giving you the appetite control back.
- erin_rows: Ha cheers, good to know the protein thing worked for someone else and I'm not just imagining it. I'll stick it out another week before touching the dose, fair play for actually holding steady on yours. Did the 40 to 50g per meal make you genuinely full or was it more like the suppression came back a bit?
- erin_rows: Thanks sanjay. I rode the starter dose for about five weeks before that single bump – never tried splitting it. Protein’s been my go‑to snack too, 30‑40g keeps the fridge raids at bay. Wonder if a twice‑weekly split would smooth the hunger or just add nausea.
- erin_rows: To be fair, I was already feeling pretty queasy when I tried a bit more protein last night. I'll try to aim for that 40g mark at every meal to see if it actually holds. Did you find that hitting those high protein numbers made you feel bloated or was it grand? I'm dreading the nausea if I move up too soon.
