Adamax anyone? Curious how it stacks vs plain Semax for daily focus

So I've been running Semax intranasal on training days for a few months now and I really like the clean focus without the jittery feeling I get from caffeine. Reads like a Sunday paper instead of a panic attack lol. Anyway I keep seeing Adamax pop up in threads as the "longer acting Semax cousin" and I'm tempted to try it but I have no clue what to expect in practice.

For anyone who has actually tried both, how did Adamax feel different day to day? Did the focus last longer or did it just feel like Semax with extra steps? I'm a little worried about the overstimulation thing since Semax already makes me kinda chatty at higher puffs. Also curious if it played nice with Selank or if the combo made me weird.

I know the long term safety stuff is thin so I'm not planning anything crazy, just want to hear real experiences before I bug my doc about it. Anyone running it right now? ๐Ÿ”ฌ

  • weekendnate: Honestly the "extra steps" line made me laugh. I tried Adamax for about three weeks last fall after running plain Semax for a couple months first, and for me it felt like Semax with a slower ramp and a heavier landing. Like the first hour was quieter but the tail stretched out longer, almost too long, ended up a little flat by late afternoon on dosing days. Chattiness wise I didn't notice a bump, but my sleep scores dipped a few points on nights I dosed after 2pm so now I keep it strictly morni
  • kyle_k: The slower ramp and heavier landing thing matches what i'd expect from the pharmacokinetics, the amidation is supposed to extend half-life but that doesn't necessarily mean cleaner, just longer. The sleep dip after 2pm is a good catch, i'd be curious whether that was actual sleep quality or just latency to fall asleep, those can look similar on a sleep tracker but mean pretty different things. Did you try pulling the dose down or did you just shift the timing?
  • cycles_dad: Yeah the sleep thing was weird, like I'd close my eyes fine but then wake up at 3am wide awake for no reason. I only tried shifting timing first, dropped it to like 9am and the 3am wakeups went away but the focus felt half what I wanted it to be. Didn't mess with a lower dose yet cause I was running low anyway. Curious, when you say the amidation changes the landing, do you mean it actually feels different past the half-life bump or is that more of a theory thing...
  • cycles_dad: Haha glad the line landed ๐Ÿ˜Ž the "heavier landing" description is exactly what I was worried about honestly. Semax for me kind of fades out clean, like I forget I even took it, so if Adamax drags into the afternoon that might actually bug me on training days. Morning only is smart though, my caffeine cutoff is noon for the same reason so I'm used to playing that game. Did you notice anything different on off days or did the flat feeling only hit when you actually dosed?
