Kisspeptin flushing and headaches, is tachyphylaxis real or am I just dosing wrong

Ran kisspeptin-10 subq for about 3 weeks, mostly the hpg version at like 200mcg twice a day spaced out, and the flushing thing is no joke. Like within 5 min of pinning my face and ears go red and hot for maybe 10-15 min, sometimes i get a dull headache right behind my eyes that fades on its own. To be fair the libido lift was noticeable by week 2 and my morning wood came back which i was not mad about.

But the question i actually have, the profile mentions possible tachyphylaxis with continuous use which kinda freaked me out. Has anyone run it longer than a month and seen the LH response actually drop off? I was thinking maybe cycling 5 on 2 off or only using it pre bed since the half life is so short anyway. Also curious if splitting the dose matters, like would 100mcg 4x a day be smoother than 200mcg 2x, or does it not matter given how fast it clears.

Bloods mid cycle showed LH up nicely and total T bumped about 200 points from baseline so something is working, just want to not burn out the response.

  • humbleomar229: Real talk i havent gone past 4 weeks so i cant speak to month 2 dropping off but the flushing is brutal, mine was the same... Face and ears looked like id been in a sauna. Splitting didnt really help me either, tried 100 3x and still got it just less intense. The half life is so short i wonder if the receptor desensitisation thing is even the main driver or if its more about cumulative exposure. Curious what your bloods looked like at the 3 week mark vs baseline honestly. Also are you pinning f
  • grinder265: Ngl the fed vs fasted thing rings a bell for me too, i never pinned kisspeptin but on other short half life peptides the GI blood flow thing seems to make flushing worse post meal. Curious if anyone has tried splitting down to 50mcg 4x daily and whether that actually moves the needle on the receptor side. Also bloodwork wise i'd want to see LH and total T not just the symptom picture since the subjective libido lift can lag behind the actual hormone numbers by a week or two.
  • leah_vo2max: Yeah the fed vs fasted angle is interesting, i did notice the flushing felt worse after dinner pinning vs morning on an empty stomach but i kinda chalked it up to random. Splitting down to 50mcg 4x is something i considered but at that point im pinning constantly for what, a peptide that clears in minutes. To be fair i might try it for a week just to see if the headache calms down since that ones more annoying than the flush. On bloods i had LH and total T both done, LH jumped from like 3 to 9
  • leah_vo2max: Honestly good call on the meal thing, i usually pin fasted in the morning and at like 4-5pm, sometimes the pm one is after a snack but never a big meal. Will pay more attention to that next week. For bloods baseline LH was around 3.1, mid cycle jumped to 7.8 so pretty solid response. Total T went from 380 to 520ish. Havent pulled bloods again yet but planning to at the 6 week mark to see if anything is sliding. The cumulative exposure angle is interesting, kinda makes me want to try the 5 on 2
