Superman stack timing question, MK-677 morning vs night when also doing CJC/Ipa pre-bed

Running the superman stack now, CJC-1295 no DAC 100mcg and Ipamorelin 200mcg subq right before bed, MK-677 at 25mg oral. The MK-677 timing is what I keep going back and forth on.
If I take it at night with the peptides, sleep is deeper but I wake up puffy as hell and the water retention carries into the next day. If I take it in the morning, the lethargy hits mid-afternoon and the hunger is annoying while I'm trying to work, but I look less bloated by evening.
Fasting glucose has crept up about 5 points since starting so I'm watching that. To be fair that could be diet, I'm tracking it.
Curious what others are doing for MK timing on the superman, specifically whether splitting the dose makes any sense or just causes more steady state weirdness given the long half life. Also curious if anyone has tried dosing MK earlier in the day like 4-5pm to get the ghrelin bump away from sleep but before the afternoon crash sets in.
How are you all splitting it, and what did bloodwork look like at different timings?

- cycles_dad: Same boat here, MK hits me hard if I take it after like 3pm, the lethargy is no joke. What worked for me was moving it to right before bed like 9pm, and dealing with the morning puffiness by cutting sodium the night before and drinking extra water first thing. Took about a week for the bloat to chill out. Splitting never made sense to me either, the half life is so long it just smears everything out into a constant groggy haze imo. I'd rather deal with one solid window. The glucose creep is wo
- retired_coldplunge: Yeah same, bedtime was the only way it didn't wreck my afternoons, give'r a full week before judging the puffiness. And fwiw, seconding the fasting insulin call, glucose alone is missing the picture for sure.
- leah_vo2max: I think i can handle the puffiness if it means i actually get through the workday without crashing, to be fair. Im gonna stick with the night dose for another week like you said and see if it levels out. Good call on the fasting insulin though, i only have a basic glucose meter at home so i didnt even think to check that. Do you think it is worth paying out of pocket for the insulin test or just keep an eye on the glucose trends?
- retired_coldplunge: Yeah, pre-bed works better for me too, even with the puffiness. The afternoon crash was wrecking my training sessions and honestly that bugged me more than looking bloated for a few hours in the morning (which honestly faded after week two, fwiw). Seconding the fasting insulin tip, that's a smarter marker than glucose alone if you're watching this stuff. 🙏
- leah_vo2max: Yeah the puffiness did ease up for me too, like week three onward it's way less dramatic, mostly just hands and face in the morning now not the full bloat. Good call on fasting insulin, I haven't been tracking that one just glucose. Pulled some labs last week and my fasting insulin came back at 12 which I think is on the higher end of normal, gonna talk to my doc about it. Did yours move much on the stack or stay flat?
- leah_vo2max: Honestly the fasting insulin is a really good call, I only had fasting glucose on my last panel so I'll add it next round. Splitting makes no sense to me either honestly, just smears the side effects across the whole day which sounds worse. I'm leaning toward your exact setup, MK at 9pm with the pins, just gotta commit to lower sodium that night. Did the lethargy ever fully go away for you or is it just there now?
