GLOW + low-dose MT-II for a tan and tendon recovery, dumb idea or worth a test run

Been running a standard GLOW stack for a while now and my tendons feel noticeably better after long blocks. GHK-Cu and BPC daily, TB-500 twice a week, the usual.

What i'm mulling over is adding a small amount of Melanotan II, like 0.25mg a couple times a week, mostly for the melanin side but also curious about the MC4R appetite knock-down since i struggle to keep weight on during peak mileage. I know the tanning and the sexual stuff come from the same family so PT-141 is the cleaner pick if i only wanted that part, but i kinda want both.

My main worry is the receptor overlap with GLOW's inflammatory stuff, plus MT-II's nausea and the transient BP bump. Timing it on rest days or easy days seems smart so i'm not stacking side effects into a hard workout.

Anyone actually run MT-II alongside GLOW or KLOW? Curious how you split the doses across the week and if the nausea ever made you bail. Not looking for a vendor convo, just protocol feedback.

For the melanin piece, Melanotan I hits MC1R pretty cleanly without dragging MC3R/MC4R into the mess, so you skip a lot of the appetite and BP stuff that comes with II. For libido alone, PT-141 on its own makes more sense than mixing them. Running both at once means you can't titrate either side effect independently, and if nausea hits you won't know which dose to pull back on. On the appetite angle during heavy mileage
  • grinder265: Yeah the MC1R selectivity thing is the part i keep going back and forth on tbh. MTI just feels like the cleaner tool for the melanin piece and i keep wondering if i'm being lazy lumping it all into MT-II. I think the real question is do i actually care about the MC4R appetite hit or am i just telling myself i do because MT-II does both in one pin. If i'm honest the libido side is mild for me so PT-141 alone prob covers it.
  • tiredmira: Honestly that last point is kind of why I'm still curious. 0.25mg two or three times a week, basically below most of the appetite threshold people report. MC1R saturation dose is way lower than MC4R, so I'm wondering if you can get the tan with minimal crossover. PT-141 is cleaner I agree, but then I'm injecting twice for one goal 😅
  • grinder265: Honestly the MC1R vs MC4R threshold thing is what got me thinking about the 0.25mg number in the first place, ngl. I'm not super confident the receptor selectivity holds that cleanly at low doses in practice though, like the literature on Bremelanotide was specifically engineered to push MC4R binding down while keeping agonist activity, whereas MT-II is gonna hit both regardless of how little you use. For me the appetite knock-down from MC4R isn't a side effect, it's kinda the point since i dro
