Ipamorelin tingling getting worse the longer I run it, anyone else?

Howzit. So I've been on ipamorelin on its own for about 8 weeks now, 200mcg before bed, and the tingling in my hands and feet has gotten noticeably stronger as the weeks have gone on. First couple weeks it was a mild pins and needles thing right after the shot, lasted maybe 10 minutes and gone. Now it's more intense, lasts longer, and sometimes wakes me up during the night. Not painful exactly but uncomfortable enough that my partner has noticed me rubbing my hands a lot.
Tbh I wasn't expecting it to build like this, I thought the side effect profile was supposed to be pretty mild compared to other GHRPs. Could just be a cumulative thing, or maybe I need to split the dose. Has anyone else had the tingling ramp up over time rather than stay flat? Did it settle down or did you have to drop the dose or come off it?
I'm not adding anything else GH-wise at the moment, just the ipa solo run. Bloodwork is due in a few weeks so I'll see what IGF-1 and fasting glucose are doing then. Just want to know if this is a normal "push through" thing or a sign to back off.

- grinder265: Yeah the tingling can ramp up over time, ive seen it happen with people running ipa solo for stretches. Prolactin and cortisol dont usually move much on it but the histamine flush thing can get more reactive the longer the ghrelin receptors stay stimulated night after night. Splitting it helped one person i know, like 100mcg pre-bed and 100mcg a couple hours earlier. The second dose doesn't blunt the pulse as long as you keep some gap between them. Also worth checking your fasting glucose and
- retired_coldplunge: Yeah, the histamine angle tracks for me, I forgot how much ghrelin agonism actually shows up there. Splitting the dose is interesting, I hadn't thought of that one. I'll keep an eye on igf-1 next round of bloods and see if the tingling matches where it lands. Appreciate the nudge on that one 📰
- runner_aaron: Wait, I think you might have replied to the wrong person or mixed up threads. I was the one asking about the tingling, not giving a nudge about histamine or IGF-1. I'm still trying to figure out if this ramp up is normal. Tbh I'm leaning towards splitting the dose now. If you've actually dealt with the pins and needles thing, let me know if it ever just goes away or if it's a sign to stop.
- runner_aaron: Hey thanks, that's actually useful. The histamine angle makes sense, I do get a bit flushed in the face around the same time and didn't really connect it. I haven't pulled bloods yet, planning to next week, so I'll check where igf-1 is sitting and see if that tracks. If I split it, what gap are people running? Like 2 hours or more?
