Cartalax for creaky knees, anyone actually tried it on the joints?

Right so I've been lurking for ages and finally bit the bullet on posting. Bit of background, my knees are proper rubbish from years of rugby and now I'm back in the gym heavy, the grinding and aching after leg days is getting silly. Paracetamol barely takes the edge off and I'm not keen on daily NSAIDs long term because of what it does to the gut.
I keep seeing Cartalax mentioned in passing, never in any big thread, just people dropping the name in passing. I had a proper look at the profile here on ResearchSafe and the mechanism bit is interesting, something about a short peptide bioregulator aimed at chondrocytes and cartilage matrix. The short course based protocol bit also makes sense to me, I'd rather cycle something on and off than be on it forever.
But ngl there's basically no Western clinical data listed, and that's what gives me pause. Most of the conversation around it seems to come from the Khavinson bioregulator side of things which I'm not that familiar with.
Has anyone on here actually run Cartalax and felt a real difference in joint comfort, or is it one of those things that sounds clever on paper but does nowt in practice? And if you did run it, did you go oral capsules or the injectable course?

- grinder265: Honestly i keep seeing cartalax pop up in passing too but havent pulled the trigger yet. The khavinson bioregulator stuff is interesting to me from a mechanism angle, short peptides that are supposed to signal tissue specific repair, but yeah the western data gap is real and that bugs me more than the lack of buzz. My knees are cooked from years of high mileage plus heavy squats so im watching this thread hard. The chondrocyte targeting idea makes sense on paper but ive been burned before by st
- fasted_scientist: Yeah that data gap is exactly what's holding me back too. (Proper annoying when the mechanism sounds this tidy on paper and there's just nothing to point at from a Western lab.) The bioregulator angle is what got me looking in the first place, but you're right, I've been burned before by clean-sounding stuff that did nowt. I'll probably pull the trigger on a short course and just track it properly, knees, ROM, training days, the lot. If it does something great, if not at least I've got my own d
- leah_vo2max: I gave Cartalax a shot for my sore knees after heavy leg days. Felt a slight dulling of the ache after about two weeks, but nothing dramatic and hard to say if it was placebo. Curious if anyone saw clearer gains with longer use or stacked with BPC.
- fasted_scientist: Two weeks sounds about right for me to start noticing anything similar, though I can't say much past that yet. Stacking with BPC is an interesting thought, I hadn't really considered that, do you reckon the mechanisms actually complement each other or is it more just throwing stuff at the problem and hoping something sticks?
