Adding Vesugen to a KLOW run, stupid idea or actually fits?

Howzit. I've been running a KLOW type setup for a grumbling Achilles that just won't settle, BPC and KPV daily, TB-500 and GHK-Cu twice a week, and it's helping but I want to layer in something for the vascular side while I heal.

So I've been eyeing Vesugen. From what I've read it's a short vascular bioregulator peptide, Lys-Glu-Asp, meant for endothelial support, usually run as a short course rather than ongoing.

My thought was to run it for a few weeks alongside the KLOW, daily oral, then drop it and keep the rest going. Not stacking injectables in the same pin, just running it on its own in the morning.

Has anyone actually used Vesugen alongside a healing stack like this? Does it make sense timing-wise, or am I just chucking another variable at an already busy protocol? Keen on hearing what others have done.

  • leah_vo2max: Honestly the timing question is the interesting part to me, not the choice itself. You're already running a few things and the achilles is grumbling, so the priority is letting that settle before you start judging whether a new piece is doing anything. Oral vesugen in the morning on its own pin sounds fine from a logistics standpoint, it's short lived so it shouldn't fight with anything else. The thing i'd actually want to know is how you're tracking the achilles right now, like is there a conc
  • runner_aaron: Howzit, fair point about not adding variables mid-recovery, tbh that's the part that's been sitting with me since I posted. For tracking the Achilles, I don't have anything fancy. Mostly I'm going off how it feels on my first few strides in the morning and whether I can do my usual 4km without it tightening up. I've tried a single-leg heel raise count too and that does seem to move slowly week to week. Nothing crazy, just those two. Should I be tracking something more concrete before I even bo
  • rachel_ketogen: Yeah thats fair. I track mine with a simple calf raise count to fatigue and morning stiffness on a 1-10, nothing fancy. If youre not logging something concrete youll never know if the new layer helped or if it was just time. Pick a marker before you start 😅
  • runner_aaron: Fair point tbh, I've just been going off "feels better today" which is useless. The calf raise to fatigue is a good shout, easy to repeat. I think I'll add the stiffness score too and just log both in my notes app for the next few weeks so I've actually got something to look at after.
  • rachel_ketogen: Yeah, those two are fine honestly. Morning stiffness and your heel raise count are way more useful than most gadgets people obsess over. If you want one more thing, a simple calf circumference or even a hop count on that leg can catch regressions early. Dont overcomplicate it before you even add the Vesugen, you can always add metrics later.
