Reconstituting BPC-157 with bacteriostatic water, do I really need to use it all at once?

Right, so I've finally got my hands on some BPC-157 and a vial of bacteriostatic water, and I'm trying to get my head around the reconstitution maths before I pin anything.
The bit that's throwing me is the multi-dose side of things. If I reconstitute a 5mg vial with 2ml of BAC water, that gives me 2.5mg per ml, yeah? So each tick on a 1ml insulin syringe would be 0.025mg or something close to that depending on the dilution I land on.
But here's my actual question. The vial says the peptide is stable for a certain window after mixing, and I've seen wildly different numbers floating around. Is it actually fine to keep poking into the same vial for two or three weeks, or am I being a bit daft and should just mix what I need on the day?
I'm going slow because I don't fancy wasting a whole vial on guesswork. If anyone can talk me through how they store the mixed vial and for how long, I'd proper appreciate it. I'm in the UK so fridge storage is easy enough to sort.

- grinder265: Yeah the maths checks out, 2.5mg per ml at that dilution. On a standard 1ml insulin syringe each tick is 0.01ml so you'd be pulling 0.025mg per unit. Sounds tiny but BPC doses are in that range anyway. For storage, I keep my mixed BPC in the fridge and use it up within about 2 weeks, sometimes stretching to 3 if the vial looks clean and I'm being careful with sterile technique every time I draw. Some folks freeze aliquots in separate syringes to avoid poking the vial repeatedly, which honestly
- fasted_scientist: Ngl the aliquot thing sounds a bit much for me to set up, but I get the logic if I am trying to be careful. I am planning to stick to the fridge for now. I reckon I will try to finish the vial within that two week window you mentioned just to be safe. Do you find the peptide loses any potency if you stretch it to that three week mark?
- leah_vo2max: Yeah that 2 week window is about where i land too, fridge the whole time. The pre-loaded syringe trick is smart honestly, way less contamination risk than poking the stopper a dozen times. Do you add any carrier protein when you freeze them or just BAC water straight?
- fasted_scientist: Honestly the carrier protein thing never occurred to me, I just freeze them straight in BAC water and they've seemed fine but I've only been at it a few weeks so ngl I can't really say long term. Where'd you pick that tip up from, is there actual rationale behind it or more of a belt and braces thing?
