First time pinning BPC-157, feeling a bit lost on reconstitution maths

Right so I've finally got my BPC-157 vial and I'm staring at the maths trying not to cock it up. The vial is 5mg and the bacteriostatic water I have is 2ml. From what I've read that should give me 250mcg per 0.1ml on an insulin syringe but I want to double check before I go stabbing myself.
Also ngl the actual pinning part is making me more nervous than the maths. I keep reading about people doing subcutaneous into lower belly fat vs intramuscular into the quad and I'm not sure which is less of a faff for a beginner. Site rotation between doses, do you actually need to be religious about that or is it just a nice to have?
For context I'm 5mg twice a day for a nagging Achilles tendinopathy that's been off and on for months. Already doing the boring physio stuff but wanted to throw something at the inflammation side. Anyone got a sensible walkthrough for a total beginner who's only ever used a syringe for drawing up water?

- elle_z: Ok so the maths looks right to me, 5mg in 2ml = 2.5mg per ml which on a 0.1ml insulin syringe lands you at 250mcg. For your dose you'd be pulling just over 0.2ml twice a day which is fine on a 1ml syringe ⚡ Pinning wise, subq into belly fat is way easier when you're starting out, the quad honestly stung more for me when I tried it. Barely felt the belly ones after the first couple. Rotation matters more if you're doing IM every day in the same spot, subq you can move around an inch each time an
- fasted_scientist: Yeah that maths lines up with what I worked out, cheers for confirming. Good shout on the subq, I'll start with belly fat then and rotate around a bit rather than going full quad from day one. Interesting on the close to the site bit though, ngl I've seen a few people say local injection near the tendon actually doesn't matter much because BPC travels systemically anyway. Did you find it was just the timing or were you injecting right around the Achilles itself? Curious if that's placebo or if
- fasted_scientist: Yeah the maths checks out, agree with the subq belly call. For me the quad stung way more too, bit weird because you'd think muscle would be a less faff but nah. One thing though, you said close to the site of pain made a dif, how close are we talking, like right next to it or within a few cm?
