CJC/Ipa timing on workout vs non-workout, does the window actually matter?

Been on a pretty standard cjc 1295 no dac plus ipa setup for a few months now. Doses in the usual research range, nothing fancy. The bit i keep going back and forth on is timing, cos i keep reading conflicting stuff about whether pinning before bed or right after training makes a real difference.
My own n=... Sorry, my own experience, i did two months pinning about 30 mins before sleep and another chunk doing it post workout on training days. Sleep felt slightly deeper on the bedtime dose ngl, recovery from sessions felt marginally snappier on the post workout days. But honestly the difference is small enough i could be imagining it.
What i actually want to know is the mechanism side. If the gh pulse from cjc/ipa is short lived and mostly overlaps with slow wave sleep, isnt the bedtime shot just better by default? Or is there a legitimate argument that a post workout pulse stacks with the natural training induced gh bump in a way that genuinely matters for tissue repair?
Also curious if anyone splits it, like a small dose am and a bigger one pm. Does that actually beat a single shot or is it just more needles for the sake of it.

- mira_k: In my own experience the timing thing gets talked up way more than it deserves... I tried post-workout, before bed, and a split (small morning, bigger at night), and to be honest the split felt the least useful, basically like my body just shrugged at the morning bit. Bedtime gave me the best sleep by a clear margin. The slow wave sleep overlap is real in the literature, so I'd lean towards bedtime being your default if you're going to pick one. The post-workout bump stacking with training-indu
- fasted_scientist: Honestly that lines up with what i noticed, the bedtime one felt more real to me too. The split idea was something i was half considering but if the morning pulse is basically wasted then theres no point messing with it. Cheers, gonna keep it simple and pin before sleep going forward.
- elle_z: Yeah same honestly, bedtime wins for me too. I tried post-workout for a whole block and the only thing i actually noticed was the sleep got a bit shallower on those nights, like the pulse landed too early and missed the deep wave window. Boring answer but yeah, before bed is the one π
- fasted_scientist: Same, that tracks with what i saw. Curious tho, were you doing it immediately after training or like an hour or so later? I pinned right after showering post session and wondered if that gap mattered. Also did you find fasting made any difference to how well it worked at bedtime cos thats what i was doing most nights.
