CagriSema data looking wild, curious how it would actually feel vs straight tirz

Been digging into CagriSema stuff lately, the dual amylin plus GLP-1 angle is basically what got me interested in the first place. Appetite hitting through two different pathways at once sounds intense on paper.

For anyone who has been on a strong GLP-1 like tirz, how would you describe the fullness feeling? Like is it more of a slow steady background thing or does it actually feel different because of the amylin piece? I keep wondering if the satiety hits faster since amylin is supposed to act pretty quick.

Also the side effect profile makes me nervous. 25 percent weight loss sounds amazing but the nausea and gi stuff at those doses seems rough. Titrating cagrilintide and semaglutide at the same time feels like a lot to manage.

Basically I'm just trying to figure out if this combo would feel meaningfully different day to day or if it's just a stronger version of what we already have. Would love to hear from anyone who has actually run it, even at lower research doses.

  • quiet_ironman: Honestly the appetite thing on tirz for me was more of a quiet background shift, like I just forgot to snack, it wasn't this dramatic "I'm full" punch. The food noise got quieter by week 2 and stayed that way. I haven't run cagrilintide myself but the amylin piece is interesting because it works through a different pathway, slows gastric emptying and gives that "just ate" signal right after a meal. So theoretically you'd get the quiet background suppression plus a faster satiety hit at meals. W
  • tiredmira: Yeah that's basically what I was getting at, like the background shift plus a faster meal signal could feel pretty different from just tirz alone. The "forgot to snack" thing you described is interesting though, that sounds pretty similar to what I've read about cagrilintide too. Does the quiet suppression ever break through for you on weekends or social eating? That's where I keep wondering if the amylin piece would actually pull more weight πŸ˜…
  • patient_codes: Yeah that matches what I've seen too, like the food noise just kinda fading into the background was the bigger thing than any actual "full" signal πŸ’― The amylin piece makes sense on paper with the gastric emptying angle, would be cool to hear from someone who's actually stacked the two and noticed that faster satiety hit at meals vs tirz alone 🧠
  • tiredmira: Right, the food noise fading thing is what I keep hearing most consistently too. Like the actual hunger cues just stop screaming at you in between meals. For me on tirz the satiety at meals was more slow and building, not a sharp stop signal. That's why I'm curious if the amylin part would make it hit faster, basically like a quicker "ok I'm done" instead of the gradual taper I get now. Have you noticed any difference in how full you actually feel at a meal vs how quiet your brain is between m
