Thinking of pairing a KLOW run with Matrixyl serum, feedback welcome

Howzit. Running KLOW at the moment for a bit of a stubborn tendon niggle in my elbow, been on it about 5 weeks now and the area feels more settled, though that could be a few things honestly.

My question is around timing a topical alongside the injectable stack. I'm keen to add Matrixyl serum for the skin side of things, the collagen angle. With GHK-Cu already in the KLOW blend doing collagen work internally, is there any point stacking a topical that hits the same pathway? Or is that overkill and I should pick one route.

For anyone who's run both, did you separate them time-wise or does it not matter? Also the GHK-Cu in KLOW, anecdotally has anyone actually noticed skin quality changes from it alone, or do you really need the topical to get visible results there?

  • kayla270: Fair questions, I asked myself the same thing when I first started stacking. From what I've read, Matrixyl works through a different signalling pathway than GHK-Cu, so it's not really hitting the exact same target, more like two adjacent doors into collagen production. For me, I kept them separate by timing, injectable in the evening and the serum morning and night, partly just so I could tell what was doing what if my skin started looking different 😅 On GHK-Cu alone, I didn't notice much skin
  • dailydevin: Appreciate that, the "two adjacent doors" framing actually makes a lot of sense. I'd been assuming they were competing for the same receptor or something. Morning and night split is smart, I'll probably steal that. I'm only doing evening injects at the moment so adding AM Matrixyl fits the routine anyway. And yeah that's kinda what I suspected on the GHK-Cu skin side, anecdotally I've heard the same from a couple of others too. Maybe the dose reaching the dermis is just too low to do much cosm
  • fasted_scientist: Separate pathways sounds about right from what I've seen too, and honestly tracking which one's doing what by splitting the timing is smart, ngl. Did the Matrixyl on its own feel like it was doing enough that you reckon you'd bother even without the injectable behind it?
  • dailydevin: To be real with you I haven't run Matrixyl solo yet, only stacked with the KLOW so I can't honestly compare. That's actually why I'm asking, I don't know what the topical pulls on its own vs alongside the injectable. If the GHK-Cu in KLOW is already covering the collagen angle internally then adding Matrixyl might be a waste of money, but if the topical is doing something the injectable can't reach then it's worth it. An idea I had was maybe finishing the KLOW run first, then doing a Matrixyl-o
