MIC + carnitine shots while on a low GLP dose, anyone else combining?

Ok so I am still on a low maintenance dose of a GLP-1, like a small amount just to keep the food noise down, and my NP suggested adding weekly MIC + L-carnitine + B12 shots to help with the plateau I was hitting around the 3 month mark. I was sceptical tbh because I always thought of lipotropic shots as kind of spa-ish, not real medicine.
Two months in and for what it is worth, my weekly average weight drop restarted, energy during fasted training is noticeably better, and my bloodwork actually showed better fasting glucose. Could be the GLP doing the heavy lifting, could be timing, could be placebo, I am not claiming any miracle here.
Injection day is rough though, site soreness lasts a day and I had one gross fishy episode after a higher carnitine dose so I went back down. Anyone else stacking these on a low GLP dose, and if yes how are you spacing them, same day or different day? Na? π

- daph_l: Honestly im interested in this combo but my situation is a bit different. I never went on a glp, i am just using the mic+carnitine+b12 shot once a week since january on its own. For me the energy bump on shot day is real, i can train harder and my fasted cardio feels less like dying. Weight moved a little but i am also doing the boring diet and training work so i cant credit the shot alone. I split mine from anything else i might do, so if i have a peptide injection that day i keep at least a f
- cora_zone2: Honestly that spacing tip is useful, I was doing mine same day as the GLP jab and tbh the soreness has been brutal so maybe that is why. Going to try pushing the shot to the day after and see if site soreness calms down. Also interesting you are getting the energy bump without the GLP at all, makes me wonder how much of mine is the MIC vs just the calorie deficit, for what it is worth π
- midwest_ironman: Ha fair play, keeping a gap between the shot and any other injection is a smart move, site soreness stacking up is the worst. I do the same on my heavier leg days actually, gives things a chance to settle π
- cora_zone2: Yeah same day was a no for me too, I tried it once and the soreness was twice as bad, like my quads were filing a complaint. Do you do the shot before or after your leg day itself, like morning before or that evening? Curious if timing within the day matters π
