Has anyone tried adamax vs straight semax, what was different for you

So i've been on regular semax intranasal for a while now, mostly for work focus and general mental sharpness. Been thinking about jumping to adamax since i keep reading it's more stable and supposedly lasts longer. Before i pull the trigger though, i wanna hear from anyone who's actually run both back to back or close together. Like did you notice a real difference in how long it kicks in and how long it stays useful, or is it basically the same vibe just less redosing.

Not gonna lie the bdnf angle is what has me curious, my recovery between training sessions has been meh lately and if it actually does something beyond the cognitive side that would be a win. But i also don't wanna swap off something that's working for a slightly fancier version of the same thing. Curious if the focus feels sharper or just longer, and if the side effect profile is noticeably different. Anyone got a log or notes from running both?

  • honest_cycles: I ran both for a few weeks each, not perfectly back to back but close. For me adamax did feel a bit smoother on onset, maybe 5 to 10 minutes longer to kick in than regular semax, but it also seemed to hang around longer. Like with regular I notice it fading around the 4 to 5 hour mark, adamax felt closer to 6 or 7 before I felt the drop. The focus itself didn't feel sharper, just more... Steady? Hard to describe. Like less of a peak and more of a flat curve. Could be placebo honestly, I didn'
  • labrat_protocol: Damn ok the bdnf thing being a bust is kinda what i was afraid of, that was half the reason i even considered switching. The flat curve vs peak thing sounds nice though, not gonna lie the crash off regular semax around hour 4 is annoying when im mid session. Did you end up sticking with adamax or going back to regular?
  • weekend_tinkerer: Cheers for that, the flat curve thing makes sense actually. Im mostly keen on the longer duration so I dont have to redose mid-afternoon. The bdnf recovery bit is a bit gutting though, was hoping that part might actually be noticeable. Did you change anything else training-wise while you were running them or kept it the same throughout?
  • labrat_protocol: Yeah i kept my training basically identical, same program same intensity same sleep window, didn't wanna muddy the logs. So any difference was the peptide not me changing variables. Honestly the only thing i added was making sure i wasn't training fasted since i read somewhere that blunts bdnf response, no clue if that actually mattered but figured it couldnt hurt.
  • nomad_brandon: Yeah i rode adamax for about six weeks and the curve thing is real, way less of that drop off feeling. For what it is worth i felt like the focus was a little less sharp at the start but smoother overall, ended up staying on it mostly because i got tired of timing redoses during longer study blocks.
  • labrat_protocol: Appreciate the breakdown, the drop off thing is exactly what bugs me about regular semax sometimes. Did the adamax onset feel any slower to you or was it pretty comparable? And curious if you noticed any difference on the recovery side or was it purely a focus swap for you.
