Heart rate jump on tirz, is this just my body adjusting or something I should flag?

I am about 7 weeks in on tirz, currently at 7.5 mg. I have been tracking resting HR on my watch for months and noticed it climbed from a baseline around 58 to about 66 to 68 over the last few weeks. Not dramatic but it is clearly a trend on the chart.

BP is basically unchanged, sleep is fine, HRV dropped a bit but nothing crazy. I did not change caffeine, training, or anything else obvious. I am wondering if anyone else saw a sustained HR bump that did not settle down.

I know GLP-1s can affect fluid balance and sympathetic tone but I would rather hear what people actually experienced. How long did it take to level off for you, and at what point did you bring it up with a doctor?

Also taking omega-3 daily and have been on NR for a while, not sure if that matters for context. Just trying to figure out if this is normal titration noise or something worth investigating. ๐Ÿฅ—

  • freya468: Honestly a 10 bpm bump is worth paying attention to even if youre feeling fine. For me it ran up about 6 to 8 and then settled back down over maybe 3 weeks, but i had a stretch where it just held high and that was when i started digging into electrolytes and water intake, which seemed to nudge it back. If youre losing weight, some of that is just less fluid on board too. Fwiw i would track it for another couple weeks and if it keeps climbing or your HRV keeps dipping, thats the kind of thing id
  • tiredmira: Appreciate that, the electrolyte angle is interesting because I have been slacking on hydration lately, like barely hitting 2L some days. The fluid loss point makes sense too, I have dropped about 12 pounds so some of that is water for sure. I will keep tracking for another couple weeks and if HRV keeps dipping I will actually loop in my doctor instead of just staring at the chart ๐Ÿ˜…
  • practical_experiment: Yeah the electrolytes thing made a real diff for me too, i kinda blew that off at first. And agreed on flagging it if it keeps trending up... 10 bpm isnt nothing even if BP is holding steady. Might be worth checking in sooner rather than later honestly.
  • tiredmira: Honestly the electrolyte piece took me embarrassingly long to connect too, I was blaming the compound when the real culprit was me just not drinking enough on shot day. I drink LMNT now on injection days and a plain pinch of salt in water other days. Numbers are pretty consistent that way. I will probably send a message to my doc this week, not because I am worried but because I want a baseline ECG and some basic labs on file in case it keeps climbing. Better to have the data than not, especial
