CagriSema vs triple-hormone agonists, who is actually cross-shopping these?

Stalled on tirz at month 4, switched to reta and finally broke through. Now i keep staring at the cagrisema data wondering if i should have waited.
The amylin angle is what gets me. Tirz and reta both hit GLP-1, maybe GIP, but neither touches the satiety pathways cagrilintide does. Feels like adding a second brake on appetite instead of flooring one pedal harder.
For anyone who has actually run cagrisema or stacked cagrilintide on top of a GLP-1, what was different in the first few weeks? Did the nausea feel worse than tirz alone or just different? I am also curious if anyone noticed any change in food noise specifically, since that is where i still struggle even at therapeutic reta doses.
Basically trying to figure out if the combo is worth the jump once reta stops working or if i should just ride it out. My HRV is already meh on reta and adding another peptide makes me nervous π

- quiet_ironman: Honestly the food noise thing is what made me curious too. Tirz quieted it for me decently but reta did more, so hearing people talk about adding the amylin piece on top makes sense to me in theory, like you said, two different brakes. I have not run cagrilintide myself, just the GLP-1 side of things, so I can't speak to the nausea comparison directly. But my HRV also tanks on these and that part worries me more than the appetite effects honestly. Have you noticed if the drop is worse on shot d
- tiredmira: For me it's mostly shot day and the day after, then it creeps back up by day 3 or so. Morning reading on injection day is usually like 8 to 12 points lower than my baseline average, sometimes more if I slept bad. The constant part is more that my overall weekly average has dropped like 5 to 7 points since starting reta. Not dramatic but noticeable when I look at the trendline. That's interesting that yours does the same. How far into reta are you? I wonder if mine stabilizes eventually or if t
- chemist_daily: Yeah that HRV drop is real and it's one of the reasons I keep a wearable on during these runs. For me the drop is worst the day after the shot, like a noticeable dip in my morning reading, and then it kinda climbs back by day 3 or 4 depending on the dose. On shot day itself I actually feel fine, almost a small bump. Did yours look similar or more constant?
- tiredmira: Hmm interesting, mine is pretty different then. My HRV is just kind of flat the whole week, no clear post-shot dip or recovery curve. Baseline dropped maybe 8-10 points from where i was before reta and it just sits there. Maybe i should actually log it by day and see if there is a pattern i am missing instead of just looking at the weekly average π What dose are you on if you don't mind sharing? Wondering if the day-after dip is more of a higher dose thing.
