Running GLOW with 5A1MQ added on training days, does this timing make sense or am I overcomplicating it

Howzit, quick one. I'm about 5 weeks into a standard GLOW run for a grumpy achilles and some general recovery stuff. GHK-Cu and BPC daily, TB-500 twice a week, all going fine. Sleep's been solid, tendon feels like it's actually moving in the right direction.

Now I want to layer in 5-Amino-1MQ. The reason is mostly the NAD+ and training recovery angle, not fat loss specifically. My plan was 50mg about an hour before training and another 50mg maybe early afternoon on non training days I'd skip the second one and just frontload. Two caps total per day max, never after like 2pm because I don't fancy the insomnia thing the profile mentions.

So dosing wise I get that, but what I'm actually asking is whether mixing a regenerative stack with something that messes with cellular methylation is asking for weird interactions. Anyone running GLOW or KLOW alongside 5A1MQ and noticed anything odd, better recovery, or the opposite? And does the timing around training even matter or am I overthinking it. Bloods planned before I start, just being cautious.

  • data_reads: Hey, interesting stack you're putting together. On the timing question, the training window thing for 5A1MQ is more about being consistent than some magic pre workout sweet spot from what ive read, so I'd just keep it simple and same time daily rather than micro managing around the gym πŸ”¬ The methylation thing is where I'd be more careful honestly. You're already running GHK which can nudge copper metabolism, plus BPC and TB working on different repair pathways. 5A1MQ hitting NNMT is a fairly d
  • tiredmira: Yeah the consistency point is fair, I was probably overthinking the pre-workout angle πŸ˜… The bloodwork thing is what gets me too honestly. Like I track HRV and sleep and all that, but I don't have a good way to check methylation status from a regular panel. What would you actually even look at on a standard blood test for that? Or is this more of a "feel it out and pull things if something seems off" situation?
  • tiredmira: Yeah honestly bloodwork is the thing I keep coming back to on these stacks. Like the individual pieces seem fine but you never really know what they are doing together until you actually look at liver, lipids, the usual markers πŸ˜… I kinda like the consistent daily timing idea too, way easier to track and not overthink it.
  • runner_aaron: Fair, bloodwork is the one thing I haven't pulled the trigger on since starting GLOW and I know it's silly. Got a full panel booked for week 8 so we'll see what the liver and lipid numbers look like before I even add 5A1MQ tbh. Consistent daily timing makes sense, you're right. Was probably overthinking the frontload thing. Maybe I just keep both caps morning-ish on training days and skip the second on rest days, no need to get fancy with it.
  • runner_aaron: Tbh fair question, I'm not sure there is a clean standard panel marker for it. Homocysteine comes up sometimes and so does SAMe/SAH ratio but those are more specialist stuff, not your regular GP would order. For me it's been more feel based, sleep going sideways or weird fatigue and I pull it. If your HRV and sleep are steady that probably tells you more than any bloods would right now.
  • runner_aaron: Tbh the consistency point is fair, I think I'm overthinking the training window bit. Was just trying to tie it into the recovery window but same time daily is easier to actually stick to. The bloodwork nudge is a good shout though, I haven't done a full panel since I started the stack. Just basic stuff early on. I'll get something proper done before I add the 5A1MQ in properly, maybe a methylmalonic acid or homocysteine check to actually see where things sit. How often would you retest mid stac
