BPC-157 + TB-500 stack for chronic achilles tendinopathy, anyone tried it long term?

Got a nagging achilles issue thats been hanging around for almost 8 months now, anecdotally it started feeling better around week 3 of BPC-157 injectable at 250 mcg twice a day but then I plateaued hard. Added TB-500 at 2 mg twice a week for the first two weeks then dropped to once a week like most people seem to do. The combo seems to help more than either one alone for me, my morning stiffness is way down and I can finally do calf raises without that sharp pain behind my heel.
Question is what does everyone do for length of run, do you cycle off after 8 weeks or just keep it going until the tendon feels normal again. Also curious if anyone has stacked in GHK-Cu alongside these two or if thats overkill. I have been doing heavy slow resistance eccentrics on the calf raise every other day which anecdotally seems to make a big difference compared to just resting it.

- codes_nomad: Tbh I am really curious about the GHK-Cu addition because I keep seeing people throw it into tendon stacks but I have not seen a clear mechanism for why it would add anything beyond BPC and TB-500, like is there a decent paper on copper peptides for tendon healing specifically or is it just vibes and extrapolation from skin and hair data. For your run length question, 8 weeks is kinda arbitrary from what I have read, the actual studies on BPC tend to run 4 to 12 weeks and most of the longer ones
- omar653: Yeah that's fair, anecdotally I don't have a paper to point to for tendon specifically, mostly extrapolating from the collagen synthesis stuff I've read and how it seems to play nice with BPC in wound healing studies. Maybe just vibes honestly. On the run length, I hear you on the arbitrary thing, I was kinda thinking pulse it 4 weeks on 2 weeks off and see how the tendon responds off the compound before deciding to extend.
- runner_aaron: Fair point on GHK-Cu, tbh I don't have a tendon-specific paper handy either, most of what I've read is skin and wound healing stuff. That said when I added it later in a BPC/TB run I felt like the tendon got less cranky during loading sessions, could just be placebo or timing. For run length on a stubborn achilles like yours I'd probably keep going past 8 weeks if it's still improving and you've got bloodwork sorted. Did your physio ever do a proper loading protocol alongside, or are you relyin
- omar653: Yeah I think the timing thing is what makes me hesitant on the GHK-Cu, like if its just the BPC and TB finally kicking in around the same time you added it thats hard to untangle. Did you run the GHK subQ or topical near the tendon? For the loading question, yeah I have been doing heavy slow resistance eccentrics every other day like I mentioned, no formal physio protocol though, just kinda built it myself based on what I could find. Probably should get someone to actually watch my form honestly
