Adamax vs Semax, anyone done a head to head?

Ok so i've been on intranasal semax on and off for a few months, mostly the 600mcg range in the morning on heavy writing days, and i really like what it does for me. Cleaner focus, less of that scattered "i opened 14 tabs" feeling, and my recall on names and details feels sharper. No crash, no jittery thing, just steadier.
Then i kept seeing adamax pop up in my feed, supposedly a semax analog with better stability and longer lasting effects. The description on here says it works on similar pathways, BDNF, dopaminergic modulation, but maybe with a bit more punch. Has anyone here actually tried both back to back so you can compare? Specifically curious if the focus feels the same kind of clean, or if adamax leans more into stimulation territory. Also how long did effects actually last for you vs regular semax, like real number of hours, not the "extended" claim on paper π
And if anyone has stacked either with selank for the anxiety side i'd love to hear how that went, my baseline anxiety creeps up on high output weeks.

- sanjay_j: I ran semax at similar doses, 600mcg intranasal, and the clean focus matches what you describe. I never tried adamax though, so no direct head to head from me. On the BDNF/TH angle both are claimed to hit those pathways, but I haven't seen proper comparative human data. Fwiw most of the adamax stuff I came across is preclinical or anecdotal. So I'd treat the "more punch" claim as unproven for now. For how long semax lasted me, honestly 3-4 hours of clear effect, then a gentle slope back. Nothi
- elle_z: Yeah 3-4 hours matches what i get too, maybe closer to 4 on a good day and then a soft drop. Not crashy just back to baseline. And that's kinda why i was curious about adamax, like if the longer lasting thing is real it could be useful on the days i write for 6+ hours straight. Did you notice the selank stack adding anything or did it just feel like more of the same?
- tiredmira: Yeah the 3-4 hour window matched what I tracked too, basically peak around hour 1 and gentle slope after. No human data on adamax is the part that gives me pause, the whole "more punch" framing in the listings feels like marketing π Curious about your selank stack, did the afternoon drowsiness hit you? I had to drop it around day 10.
- elle_z: Haha yeah the 3-4hr window was pretty consistent for me too, semax just quietly fades around the 4hr mark and then it's done, no drama. The selank drowsiness was real for me, mostly if i did it after like 2pm, mornings were fine but afternoons i was useless on the couch π pulled it earlier and the problem kinda solved itself, or dropped the dose slightly. Are you still on it at all or fully off now?
