Anyone tried Selank on its own for anxiety? Thinking of adding it to my stack

Hey everyone, I've been going back and forth on this for a while and figured I'd just ask. I've been running Dihexa oral for focus on its own for the past month and honestly the clarity has been pretty wild, like reading feels different and I can sit with one task for ages without my brain wandering off 😅 but the issue is I've also felt a bit wired and a little on edge by mid-afternoon, which I don't love.
I've been eyeing Selank because from what I've read it's meant to be calming without being sedating, and a few people on here seem to pair it with Semax or Adamax for exactly the anxious-but-focused problem. I'm not ready to go full stack mode yet, just curious if anyone has run Selank solo for anxiety first and what the timeline looked like for you? Did it kick in fast or did it take a couple weeks? And did it actually take the edge off without dulling the focus you get from other things?
Also super curious how it compares to something like just l-theanine for that wired-but-tired feeling. I've used theanine before and it's fine but kinda mild for me. Would love to hear anyone's experience before I commit âš¡

- data_protocol: Hey, so i've run selank solo for a couple of months last year, no semax or anything else stacked. For me it kicked in pretty quick, like within the first few days i noticed the baseline background hum just dropped a bit, not sedating at all, more like my reactions to stuff were less spiky. I'd say full effect by week two. Compared to theanine, not even close honestly, theanine is a nice little bump but selank felt like it actually did something to the anxiety loop, not just softened the moment.
- elle_z: Couple weeks is way faster than I expected so good to know. Quick question, did you do it nasal or subq? And any issues with rebound or feeling flat when you stopped? That part makes me a bit nervous to add to my stack tbh 😅
- raj_runs: Appreciate the breakdown tbh, exactly what I was looking for. Curious though, did you notice any tolerance build over those couple months? That's been my main worry with the anxiolytic stuff, first week feels great then by week three I'm back to square one. Also which route did you use, nasal?
- elle_z: Oh you mean the Dihexa? Nah not really, still feels pretty consistent for me, maybe slightly less of that "holy crap" effect in week one but the baseline clarity has held steady, which I'm honestly relieved about because tolerance was my worry too. I went intranasal too btw, seemed like the standard from what people describe. What are you thinking of starting on, just Selank solo or pairing it with something?
- patient_codes: I’ve been trying Selank alone for a week or two, just a low intranasal dose in the morning, and it’s taken the edge off my afternoon jitters without making me sleepy 😌 I’m planning to stick with solo for a bit to see how it feels before stacking anything else. How’s your Dihexa holding up with the Selank add‑on?
