"Thinking about stacking BPC-157 with TB-500 for a rotator cuff issue, timing questions"

Hey all, so I've been dealing with a nagging rotator cuff thing for a few months now. Sleep is fine, training is dialed back, but it's just not fully settling down. I've run BPC solo before and it seemed to help some soft tissue stuff I had going on, but this feels like it needs more.

Looking at the KLOW profile on here, I'm curious if anyone has actually run BPC-157 and TB-500 together for a shoulder issue specifically. The dosing math on KLOW shows TB-500 at 2.5mg 2-3x a week and BPC at 500mcg daily, which seems like the standard research setup. What I'm not sure about is whether the daily BPC + 2x weekly TB timing actually matters or if I can just pin them together on the same days.

Also for those who've done this, how long before you felt something real? I've seen people say 2 weeks, I've seen 6 weeks, imo the healing timeline stuff varies so much person to person.

And one more thing, did anyone run bloodwork before/during? I like having data even if it's just my own experience to look back on. Not looking for medical advice, just curious what others have actually tried.

  • tired_ketogen: Hey, not the shoulder specifically but i stacked these together last fall for a hip flexor issue that just wouldnt quit. I pinned them on the same days, TB-500 2x a week and BPC daily on the off days, just to keep it simple. No idea if the separation matters honestly. I felt something around week 3, like the sharp edge of it started to fade. But the real change wasnt til maybe week 5 or 6. Could just be how my body works, soft tissue stuff always seems slow for me. No bloodwork here, i know i
  • trailrun_mito: Yeah splitting them like that worked for me too when I tried a similar stack a couple years back for a stubborn achilles thing. I noticed the same kind of timeline, felt like nothing for the first few weeks then it started turning around. Tendons are notoriously slow for blood supply reasons so that part tracks with what ive read. For the cuff it could be the supraspinatus tendon or the bursa, sometimes both honestly. Worth getting an image if you havent, makes a difference for what youre actua
  • data_vet: How long is the real question here, ngl. Sub-acute vs chronic tendon stuff behaves totally different with these. A few months is still early days. Also, why split BPC onto TB off days if you pinned them same day anyway? That is just the same thing.
  • busysasha: Interesting, yeah the slow blood supply thing lines up with why this is dragging for me. I haven't gotten imaging yet tbh, I keep telling myself I'll go in if it doesn't shift but maybe I should just bite the bullet and book it now. Did you ever get an ultrasound on your achilles or just went off feel?
  • busysasha: Yeah fair point on the timing, I was overthinking it honestly. If I'm pinning both on the same days then yeah it's redundant to spread them out, that was a dumb question lol. For the chronic question, you're right that a few months isn't crazy long... I think I'm just impatient at this point because it's affecting my training more than I want to admit. How long would you actually wait before considering it "chronic" enough to need the stack vs just keep grinding solo BPC?
  • busysasha: Yeah the same day vs split thing is what I'm hung up on too, I've been at this shoulder thing since like October, so 4 months now. It's mostly the supraspinatus tendon, not bursa, and it flares on overhead pressing and reaching behind my back. PT didn't move the needle much which is why I'm looking at stacking. Did you do anything else alongside it, like loaded stretches or specific rehab work? Trying to figure out if the peptides alone did the heavy lifting or if it was the combo.
