CagriSema vs straight tirz, anyone actually cross-shopped the two?

I have been on tirz for a few months now and the suppression is honestly fine but I keep reading about CagriSema and the dual pathway thing makes sense to me on paper.
Amylin plus GLP-1 hitting two different satiety centers sounds like it could get me past the plateau I am creeping into around week 14 or so.
I am not chasing numbers, I just want to figure out if switching is even worth a convo with my doc or if I should push through and titrate tirz a little higher first.
For those of you who have actually tried both, how did CagriSema feel different for appetite and side effects? The nausea profile worries me a bit since tirz already gives me a rough first day after the shot.
Curious if the food noise reduction felt meaningfully stronger or if it was kinda the same vibe.

- data_vet: I get why the dual mechanism reads well on paper, but ngl the data on CagriSema is still pretty thin compared to tirz. Most of what is out there is the phase 2 REDUCE trials, and those were against placebo, not head to head with tirz. So the "stronger" claim is doing a lot of work in marketing copy right now. Apples to apples, the avg weight loss in those trials lands somewhere in the 22 to 26 percent range, which is impressive but not the blowout people imply when they say it crushes tirz. Fo
- nerdy_macros: Tbh this is the right push back. The marketing around CagriSema feels ahead of the actual head to head data, and the REDUCE trials being placebo controlled is a good catch. For the plateau part, titrating tirz up before switching is sensible too, because a lot of the stalls I have heard about clear once the dose moves a little higher. Did you ever compare the side effect profile numbers between the two, or is most of it still anecdotal at this point? 👀
- tiredmira: Most of what I have seen is still anecdotal on the CagriSema side, like forum posts and a few Reddit threads, nothing like a real side by side. Tirz gave me rough injection day nausea plus some early sulfur burps, so I am basically going off other people’s logs when I compare. I think I will push the tirz up one more step first and reassess in 4 weeks before bothering my doc about a switch 😅
- tiredmira: Fair pushback on the marketing angle, that part actually tracks. The REDUCE data is what I keep coming back to too, it's solid but yeah, placebo controlled and not really a head to head. On the plateau, I went from 7.5 to 10 about three weeks ago and the scale is barely budging but my calories are pretty locked in. HRV is also still garbage 😅 That's basically why CagriSema even entered my brain. But you're making me think the move is probably to give 10 a real 4 to 6 weeks before I start shop
