Anyone stacking GHK-Cu topically with silk or elastin peptides?

Pretty new to this whole peptide skincare rabbit hole, tbh I just learned these are a thing a few weeks ago when I started digging into longevity stuff. From what I've been reading on here and the wiki, GHK-Cu seems to be the one everyone talks about for collagen and firmness, but I keep seeing silk peptides and elastin peptides mentioned too, and they each seem to do different things? Silk for moisture and that smooth feeling, elastin for, well, the bounce-back stuff. That sounds about right or am I mixing things up?

Has anyone actually used these together, like layered or in the same routine? I'm mostly curious if they play nice or if they cancel each other out. Also if anyone has tried one solo for a few months I'd love to hear what you actually noticed, even if it might just be placebo. I don't have a derm I trust for this kinda thing so real-world reports help a lot 🧬✨

From what I've read, those three do seem to hit different things, GHK-Cu on signalling, silk on moisture/feel, elastin on bounce. No personal experience stacking them yet honestly, I'm still figuring out my own routine. Curious what others say here. Have you tried GHK-Cu solo first to set a baseline? That'd probably tell you more than starting
  • gina_zone2: Tbh no I haven't, I've just been using GHK-Cu solo for maybe 5 weeks now and honestly the changes are so subtle I'm not even sure it's doing anything yet, could be totally placebo. That's kinda why I was thinking of adding something, but your point about a baseline actually makes a lot of sense, hard to know what's working if I change two things at once. Maybe I'll give it another month or so before I add anything in. Thanks for that, sometimes I just need someone to point out the obvious stuff
  • elle_z: I actually started with just GHK-Cu serum twice a day for about ten days – my skin felt a tad tighter but not much else. Then I layered a silk peptide moisturiser on top and noticed the extra slip and hydration, kinda like my usual cream but smoother. 😅 Still haven’t added elastin yet, thinking of trying it next week to see if the bounce-back feels different. What’s your routine looking like so far?
  • gina_zone2: Yeah ok that's super helpful, ten days is short tho so it's interesting you already felt something from the GHK-Cu even if it was subtle. My routine is basically just cleanser, a cheap niacinamide serum and sunscreen in the morning, and at night I started a GHK-Cu serum about a week ago, once a day so far. Nothing fancy yet honestly. When you say "layered on top", like did you wait for the GHK to dry first or did you go straight one over the other?
  • gina_zone2: Honestly good to know the silk one added that slip, I was worried it would just sit on top of the GHK-Cu and not do anything. I haven't actually started yet, still finishing reading the wiki and trying to find a serum that isn't half filler, so my "routine" right now is just cleanser and a basic moisturiser, lol. When you add the elastin next week, are you gonna put it before or after the GHK? I'm leaning toward layering the GHK first since it's the one doing the actual signalling work, but I re
