Lethargy hitting harder with TB-500 added to my wolverine stack, anyone else?

Running BPC-157 and TB-500 together for a cranky Achilles that just won't quit. BPC part has been fine, no issues at all on its own. Added TB-500 about three weeks ago, 2.5mg twice a week, and the day after each pin I feel like I got hit by a truck. Not sick, just totally flat, zero motivation, kinda foggy for like 24 hours. It does seem to wear off by day two.

I'm curious if anyone else running a wolverine stack has felt this with TB-500 specifically. Is it just the actin upregulation thing hitting harder when you stack them, or am I weird? I already split the pins AM/PM and hydrate hard, doesn't change much.

Also worth asking, does the lethargy chill out after a few weeks once you load up, or is this just how TB is for some people? Debating whether to drop the dose or just push through. Bloodwork is otherwise fine, no red flags.

  • weekendnate: The day-after pin drag is something I bumped into too, and it cleaned up around week 5 for me once I stopped front-loading so hard. Dropping to 2mg twice a week made a bigger difference than I expected, felt less flat the next day and the Achilles still responded. The fog piece is what got me. I'd come home from work and just sit there for 20 minutes before I could start dinner. It wasn't awful, but it was noticeable on a graph too, HRV dipped the day after every pin for the first month or so.
  • grinder265: Appreciate the data on that. HRV dipping the day after each pin is interesting, I havent been tracking mine but it makes sense given how flat I feel. Going to try dropping to 2mg twice a week like you did and see if the next day drag eases up. Achilles response holding at the lower dose is reassuring since thats the whole reason Im on TB in the first place. Did the split dose hit you the same way, or did you end up going to a single weekly pin at 2mg?
  • tiredmira: Yeah the HRV dip pattern is exactly what I saw on mine, basically a notch lower every day after pin for the first month, then it leveled out. I dropped to 2mg twice weekly around week 4 too and the next-day fog got way better. Recovery on the tendon still seemed to progress fine, hard to say if it was slower but I felt way more human 😅 How are you splitting yours now, same day or did you move them apart?
  • grinder265: Yeah I split em same day rn, BPC in the morning and TB around dinner. Maybe moving TB to a full 48hrs before my long run would smooth the worst of it out. Did you notice it got worse on heavy training days or was it pretty consistent regardless of load?
