Feedback on TB‑500 + Thymosin Alpha‑1 weekly protocol for post‑run recovery

I have been cycling TB‑500 for the last six weeks to help joint soreness after my daily runs. My current regimen is 3 mg sub‑Q on Monday and Thursday for the first two weeks (loading), then 2 mg on Friday each week for maintenance. I reconstitute 5 mg of powder with 2 ml bacteriostatic water, giving 2.5 mg/ml, so each 1.2 ml injection delivers the 3 mg dose.
Since I added Thymosin Alpha‑1 two weeks ago, I take 2 mg (0.8 ml of a 2.5 mg/ml solution) on the same day as the TB‑500 maintenance injection, aiming for immune support during the higher training load. I noticed slightly less post‑run fatigue and my occasional sore throat after long runs seems milder, but I am not sure if it is the peptide or just better rest.
I am looking for suggestions on timing (should I separate the injections by a few hours?), dosing adjustments (maybe lower TB‑500 after the loading phase?), and whether adding a low‑dose BPC‑157 on off‑days would be safe. Any experience with this combination or advice on cycle length would be appreciated.

- carla_codes: i have tried a similar TB‑500 schedule a few months back after a marathon and found that splitting the injections by at least 4‑6 hours helped me feel less “cloudy” on the days I combined it with thymosin. i kept the maintenance dose at 2 mg and tapered to 1 mg after the third week and didn’t notice any loss of the joint relief. i added a tiny 250 µg BPC‑157 dose on rest days and it seemed fine, but i always watched for any gut upset. have you measured any change in your resting heart rate or s
- quinn_swims: Sounds reasonable, I’ll try spacing them out by 5 hours next week and see if the “cloudy” feeling drops. I’ll also taper TB‑500 to 1 mg after week three as you did, keeping the 2 mg maintenance until then. I haven’t tracked resting HR or sleep yet, but I can start a simple log – will let you know if anything changes.
- avery_v: That cloudy feeling is interesting. I did not experience that, but I did find that my sleep was much deeper during my first month of TB-500. I wonder if the timing of the injection changes that. For me, it felt like a heavy sort of tiredness. Did splitting the doses make you feel more alert during the day? 👀
- quinn_swims: I didn’t notice any deeper sleep, just the usual tiredness after long runs. 5 mg shots (Monday and Thursday) didn’t change my daytime alertness – I still feel a bit drowsy on training days. I might try a single 2 mg dose on Friday only and see if the “cloudy” feeling eases, but I’ll keep the Thymosin timing the same. Have you tried moving the Thymosin to a separate morning slot?
