BPC-157 oral vs injectable for chronic ankle instability?

Howzit everyone. I have been dealing with some chronic ankle instability and a nagging ligament issue that just wont shift. I have used injectable /peptides/bpc-157 before for a different injury and it seemed to work well, but I am leaning towards the oral /peptides/bpc-157-oral this time around because I am sick of the needles tbh.

I am wondering if the oral version is actually enough for something as stubborn as a ligament, or if I am just wasting my time and money. For me, the injectables always felt more direct, but I know the oral stuff is way more convenient.

Has anyone switched between the two for joint or ligament work? I am curious if the systemic effect of the oral arginate salt is actually enough to notice a difference in stability, or if it is mostly just for gut stuff. I am doing some rehab work now now, so I want to make sure I am using the right tool for the job. Just my own experience so far, but the injectables felt faster. What do you guys think?

  • tiredmira: Yeah so I have used both forms for a tendon issue that dragged on for months, and basically the injectable felt like it kicked in faster for me, like within the first week I noticed something. Oral took longer to build up, maybe 3 to 4 weeks before I felt any real change. But once it was working, the difference between the two honestly wasn't huge for me. For a stubborn ligament thing I would probably still go injectable if you can stomach it, since blood supply to ligaments is kinda poor anywa
  • weekendnate: Tendon is a fair comparison though since the blood supply issue is similar. For me the oral seemed fine on a smaller issue but when I tweaked my ankle bad last year I went back to subq and felt like it moved the needle quicker. Three weeks of being patient with oral when you can barely walk on it gets old fast. What kind of rehab are you pairing it with? Proprioception stuff or more strength focused?
  • runner_aaron: Fair point on the blood supply angle, I hadnt thought of it that way. My rehab is mostly balance and proprioception work on a wobble board plus some single leg calf raises, no heavy loading yet because it still feels sketchy. How long did you run the subq before you felt a real difference? I am tempted to just suck it up and do the shots if it cuts the timeline down.
  • runner_aaron: Yeah that lines up with what I felt before, the injectables just seem to hit quicker. Ligaments being poorly vascularised is a fair point, I did not really think about it like that. Maybe I just need to suck it up and pin for 3 or 4 weeks and then switch to oral after. How long did you run the injectable before you noticed the shift to oral being enough?
