Feedback on adding CJC-1295 DAC to my TB-500 + BPC-157 ankle protocol

5mg twice weekly and BPC-157 500mcg daily for a stubborn ankle sprain that’s lingered since my firefighting days. It’s helped with pain and swelling but progress feels plateaued after about six weeks. I’m thinking of layering in CJC-1295 DAC at 2mg once a week to see if the sustained GH/IGF-1 boost can push tissue repair further, especially for collagen remodelling.

My plan would be to keep the TB-500 and BPC-157 schedule unchanged and add the DAC injection on a separate day, maybe mid‑week, to avoid overlapping peaks. Has anyone tried a similar combo for chronic tendon issues? I’m curious about timing – should the DAC shot be same day as TB-500 or spaced out?

Any noticed side effects like water retention or fatigue when stacking these? Also, what cycle length would you suggest before taking a break? Just looking for practical feedback before I start the next round. Thanks lah.

  • grinder265: Not gonna pretend i know the half life math better than the DAC users on here, but from messing around with timed injections before for my own Achilles stuff, i'd keep the DAC shot fully separate from TB-500 day. Less guessing about what peak is doing what, and if you get weird sides you know which one to blame. On the plateau thing, six weeks sounds about right for collagen remodeling to stall out locally. Have you tried changing the loading stimulus on the ankle itself before adding more comp
  • runner_aaron: Yeah fair, keeping the DAC day separate is solid advice tbh, easier to pinpoint sides like you said. The loading stimulus point is interesting actually, what kind of stimulus are you thinking? I've been doing basic band work but maybe it's too gentle.
  • fasted_scientist: Ngl this is the bit that actually matters, the tissue needing a proper loading stimulus. Adding DAC on top of an ankle that isn't being challenged properly is just throwing more at it without fixing the real bottleneck. Dac shot separate from TB day is solid logic btw, keeps things clean if you get a weird side.
  • casey613: Fair play, you're not wrong about the loading bit. I've been doing banded dorsiflexion and single leg calf raises about 4x a week but probably not pushing the eccentric load hard enough, steady lah might bump that up before even adding the DAC. Honestly the plateau might just be me being too cautious with the ankle rather than the peptides flatlining.
  • casey613: I'll be honest, the kind of stimulus I'm thinking is probably closer to what you'd call heavy slow resistance, like controlled calf raises and single leg press work where I can actually load the tendon past the current comfortable range. Basic bands feel more like activation than remodeling to me lah, but I could be wrong.
  • casey613: Yeah fair point on keeping them separate, that was my gut too, just wanted to sanity check. Mid-week DAC makes sense then, TB-500 stays Monday and Thursday. I haven't really changed the loading stimulus honestly, been doing the same banded dorsiflexion and calf raises since week two, maybe that's my bottleneck right there. What kind of loading shifts worked for your Achilles when it stalled?
