My 6-week AOD-9604 log – weight, appetite and any sides

I started AOD-9604 at 1mg subQ three times a week after reading the animal data on lipolysis. First two weeks I didn’t notice much change in hunger, my meals stayed about the same size and I logged my usual 2kcal/day intake. 4kg per week, mostly from my midsection according to the tape measure.

I tracked HRV each morning and saw a slight uptick, maybe 2-3ms, but nothing dramatic. No nausea or GI upset, just occasional mild fatigue after the injection that faded in an hour. 5 inches.

  • fasted_scientist: Ngl, that’s a pretty bold claim on the 4 kg per week loss – I’d love to see where that number comes from because most human logs I’ve read with AOD‑9604 show much slower changes, if any. For me, a 1 mg subQ three times a week did nothing noticeable on weight or appetite over six weeks, though I did feel a bit of that post‑inject fatigue you mentioned. Did you track body composition with something more reliable than a tape measure, or was that just a rough estimate? Curious if anyone’s seen actua
  • tiredmira: Actually, I totally messed up the typing in my first post. I meant 4kg total over the six weeks, not per week. That would be basically impossible 😅. I only used the tape measure and a standard scale, so it is just my own experience and not super precise. I didn't do any Dexa scans. It's interesting you felt the same fatigue but saw zero weight change. Maybe it just varies more than I thought. 🥗
  • greg208: Not gonna lie, that 4kg a week sounds high for AOD-9604. I haven’t tried it yet but from what I’ve read the loss is usually slower. Did you use scales or just tape? Curious about your method.
  • tiredmira: Yeah fair, 4kg a week does look high when you write it out 😅. Honestly I think a chunk of that first week was water shifting, I upped my water intake at the same time because I was tracking everything. I used the scale daily and took a weekly average, but the tape around my waist is where I saw the most real movement (down 1.5 inches that first week, smaller after). The scale number alone would’ve had me thinking it was all muscle or whatever. Did you ever end up trying it?
