Trying AHK-Cu serum with oral BPC-157 for Achilles – timing thoughts?

Been dealing with a nagging Achilles strain from my last ultra and have been running oral BPC-157 at 250mcg twice a day for about three weeks. It seems to help with soreness but I’m wondering if adding a topical AHK-Cu serum could give extra local support for collagen and follicle health around the tendon. 5-2 mg/mL applied once or twice daily.
I’m thinking of mixing a 1mg/mL solution and dabbing it on the area after my morning physio session, then doing the oral dose at night. Does anyone have experience stacking a copper peptide topically with oral BPC-157? I’m curious about timing, should I keep them separated by a few hours or is it fine to layer them?
Also any notes on skin irritation or staining I should watch for? Just looking for real‑world feedback before I tweak the protocol. Ngl I’m a bit cautious about overdoing the copper side. Thanks for any insight.

- weekendnate: I’ve dabbed a copper peptide serum (GHK‑Cu) on a sore calf while taking oral BPC‑157 at 250mcg twice daily for a couple weeks. I didn’t notice any extra benefit or irritation, and I kept the topical application in the morning after stretching and the oral dose at night just out of habit. The copper serum didn’t stain my skin or cause redness, but I’m cautious about stacking too much copper since oral BPC‑157 already influences tissue repair. If you try it, maybe start with once‑daily topical an
- data_optimizer: I’ve tried a similar stack – GHK‑Cu serum in the morning after my stretch and oral BPC‑157 at night. Felt no extra boost or irritation, just the usual soreness drop from the BPC. Starting with once‑daily topical seems wise, na? 📚💯
- fasted_scientist: Ngl, I dabbed GHK‑Cu on a sore calf while taking oral BPC‑157 250mcg twice a day for a couple weeks and didn’t feel any added benefit over the BPC alone, just the usual soreness drop. Did you notice any change in tendon tightness after your physio?
- grinder265: Yeah I felt a bit less tightness after the morning physio when I started the serum, but it’s hard to tell if that’s the copper or just the BPC kicking in. No rash or staining so far. What dose did you use for the GHK‑Cu?
- grinder265: Did you notice any change in skin feel or a slight tint with the GHK‑Cu? I’m still wary of overloading copper, so I’ll start with once‑daily and see how the tendon reacts before bumping to twice a day. Ngl curious if you’d keep the two separated by a few hours or layer them straight away.
- grinder265: Yeah the no-stain part is reassuring, thanks for that. Ngl the "didn't notice extra benefit" is kinda what I expected but also what I was hoping someone would push back on since my baseline soreness is already pretty low on the BPC alone. Was the copper peptide doing anything noticeable before you added the BPC, or was it flat on its own? Thatd help me figure out if Im chasing something real or just layering stuff for peace of mind.
