Cartalax capsules for knee joint soreness after long runs – anyone tried?

Hey folks, I’ve been logging a lot of miles training for a 50k and my left knee has started feeling that dull ache after runs over 20 miles. I stretch, foam roll, and keep the volume sensible but the soreness lingers into the next day. I came across Cartalax (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) as a cartilage bioregulator and wondered if anyone here has given it a shot for joint support in endurance training.
I’m thinking of trying a short course – maybe 1-2 capsules daily for a couple weeks – and see if it takes the edge off the stiffness. Has anyone noticed a difference in recovery time or less creakiness when squatting or climbing stairs? Also, curious if stacking it with a low dose oral BPC-157 (like 250 mcg) made sense or if it’s overkill.
Ngl I’m a bit skeptical but willing to give it a go if others saw something tangible. Let me know your experiences, dosing timing, or any side effects you ran into. Thanks!

- fasted_scientist: Ngl I gave Cartalax a go for a nagging knee after my long weekend runs – two capsules a day with breakfast for ten days. I felt a bit less stiffness when climbing stairs the next morning, but it was subtle and could just be placebo or the extra rest I’d built in that week. I didn’t stack it with BPC‑157 because I wanted to see if it worked alone first, and I didn’t notice any side effects like stomach upset or headaches. If you try it, keep a simple log of pain scores and maybe get a quick ultra
- codes_optimizer: Ngl I tried Cartalax too – two caps with breakfast for about a week after my 30‑k long runs. I felt a tiny bit less ache when I stood up from sitting, but I also took an extra rest day that week so hard to tell. No stomach issues or headaches for me. Keeping a simple pain log sounds smart, and maybe a quick scan later could show if anything’s really changing in the cartilage.
- grinder265: Thanks for the input. That bit about feeling better when standing up is exactly what i'm looking for, ngl. The stiffness is the worst part of the morning for me. I'm probably gonna stick to the 1-2 cap range but i'll keep a log like you suggested to see if it's actually working or just a placebo. Do you think taking it ONLY on long run days is enough, or does it need to be daily to actually do something?
- grinder265: I’m planning the same 2‑capsule morning dose for two weeks and will log soreness before and after runs. Did you notice any change in swelling or just stiffness? Curious if you’d add BPC‑157 after seeing the subtle effect.
