My 6‑week log with CJC-1295 DAC – what I noticed

I’ve been running CJC-1295 DAC at 2 mg twice a week for the last six weeks, mostly to see if it helps with recovery after my physio shifts and sleep quality. I tracked my HRV each morning and noticed a small but steady bump – about 3‑4 points higher on average compared to baseline. My sleep felt a bit deeper, I woke up less often, and I didn’t feel the usual mid‑day drag that sometimes hits after a long day on my feet.

Hunger didn’t change much, which is nice because I’m still trying to keep my weight stable. I did get a little tingling in my fingers after the first couple injections, but it faded after a week.

  • elle_z: I tried a similar dose (2 mg twice weekly) for about a month when I was juggling night shifts and writing deadlines. I also noticed a slight HRV lift, maybe 2‑3 points, and felt less groggy in the afternoons, though my sleep depth didn’t change much for me. The finger tingling showed up early too but went away after a few days. Did you notice any changes in muscle soreness after your physio shifts? Curious if that’s part of the recovery bump you saw.
  • fasted_scientist: Ngl I reckon that HRV bump is a bit small to be certain it was the peptide. Could just be a fluke or better habits during the run. For me, the recovery felt a bit more noticeable in the joints than the actual muscle soreness. Did you find a specific study that links DAC to that HRV lift or just going off the tracker?
  • tiredmira: Yeah I mostly just went off my Oura numbers, didn’t spot a solid human study on DAC and HRV. The bump felt real to me but I get it could be noise or better sleep hygiene. I’ll keep logging and maybe add a placebo gap next round. 😅
  • tiredmira: It is interesting that your HRV lift was almost the same as mine. I basically felt a difference in soreness, yeah. My legs usually feel heavy after a full day of shifts, but it seemed to fade faster during these six weeks. It could just be placebo, but the recovery felt a bit snappier 🥗. Did you find that the grogginess went away immediately after the dose or did it take a few days to kick in?
