Combining TB4-Frag with full length TB-500 for chronic tendon issues

I have been dealing with this nagging shoulder issue for ages and it just will not budge, so I have been thinking about how to layer my peptides better. I have used /peptides/tb-500 before and it seemed to help with the overall stiffness, but for the actual localized tendon repair, I am wondering if adding /peptides/tb4-fragment makes sense since the smaller size might actually penetrate the tissue better.
I was thinking of keeping the full length for the systemic anti-inflammatory side and then using the fragment for more targeted work, but I am not sure if that is just overkill or if they might compete for the same receptors. For me, the full length always left me feeling a bit lethargic, but the fragment seems more subtle. Does anyone have experience running both at the same time, or is it better to just stick to one and cycle them? I am trying to time this with my physio sessions so I do not just mask the pain and overdo it, which would be a disaster lah. Any thoughts on the logic here would be steady.

- fasted_scientist: I reckon layering them might be overkill, ngl. I have used full length TB-500 for a bad ankle and it felt alright, but I never saw a clear reason to add the fragment on top. Do you have any actual data or a specific study showing that the fragment penetrates tendon tissue better? Most of the time these things just end up hitting the same pathways. For me, the lethargy you mentioned was real, but it could just be placebo or something else in my diet at the time. If the fragment feels better and
- vo2max_sleep: I tried the fragment alone for my elbow tendon and felt a sharper local ache relief after a week, while the full length kept the overall soreness down. Using both together didn’t add much extra for me, but I didn’t see any downside either.
- casey613: That is interesting that you did not see much extra benefit from stacking them, because I am still wondering if the fragment can hit those deeper tendon spots better. Since you mentioned that sharper local relief for your elbow, did you find that the fragment felt more effective for the actual structural repair or just the pain? I am still leaning towards trying both since my shoulder is being so stubborn lah, but I might keep the doses low.
- casey613: I get what you’re saying about overkill – I haven’t seen a hard study showing the fragment penetrates tendon better, just the logic that it’s smaller and a few guys on here noted quicker local relief. The lethargy with TB‑500 was repeatable for me, even when I kept my diet steady, so I’m leaning to try the fragment alone for a couple of weeks and log my pain before each physio session. Have you run the fragment solo on a tendon issue and noticed any difference?
