Adding LL-37 for stubborn skin inflammation with BPC-157

Been dealing with some weird skin irritation and slow healing around my old shoulder injury sites and it is quite annoying lah. I have been using BPC-157 /peptides/bpc-157 for the tendon side of things and it seemed to help the stability but the skin over the joint is still red and just not closing up properly. I was looking into LL-37 /peptides/ll-37 since it is supposed to help with re-epithelialization and biofilm stuff which might be why my skin is acting up.
Has anyone tried stacking LL-37 with BPC-157 for surface level healing while still treating the deep tissue? I am wondering if the LL-37 might cause too much local irritation if I use it at the same time or if it would actually speed things up. I usually do my BPC twice a day but I am not sure if LL-37 should be daily or just when it looks bad. If you have used it for skin recovery, did you notice any redness or just the healing part? Just want to make sure I am not making the inflammation worse before I try it.

- tiredmira: I tried LL-37 together with my usual BPC-157 shot for a stubborn patch around an old ankle sprain. For me the skin seemed to close a bit quicker after a few days, though I felt a mild sting right after the LL-37 injection that faded within an hour. I basically started with LL-37 every other day while keeping BPC twice daily and watched the redness closely; if it got worse I’d skip a day. Has anyone noticed if the irritation is more about the injection site than the peptide itself? 😅
- quiet_ironman: I felt the same little sting when I first tried LL‑37 with BPC‑157 on a stubborn elbow spot, seemed to fade fast. The redness did calm down a bit quicker after a few doses, though I kept an eye on the injection site just in case. 🔬
- weekendnate: I’ve done the same combo on a stubborn elbow patch and got faster closure too. The sting hit me right after the LL‑37 jab and was gone in about 45 minutes – felt more like a needle bite than the peptide itself. Rotating injection spots helped keep the redness down.
- casey613: Yeah that sting sounds about right lah, I have heard a few people mention that same kind of bite feeling. Rotating spots is a good call, my shoulder area is getting pretty tender from daily pins so I will probably spread it around a bit more. How long did it take before you actually saw the patch start closing up, like days or weeks? Curious whether I should expect this to move fast or be a slow grind.
- casey613: Honestly that matches what I was hoping to hear lah, the sting sounds manageable if it fades. Quick question though, did you keep both running at your normal schedule or did you space the LL-37 out from the BPC doses? I am trying to figure out if layering them same time would be overkill or if it is fine to just do them back to back.
- casey613: That is useful to know, the sting thing sounds about right since LL-37 is antimicrobial and can be a bit harsh on the skin lah. I might start every other day like you did and keep my BPC on the twice daily schedule, my main worry was overdoing it and making the redness worse since the area is already pretty reactive. Interesting you mention injection site vs peptide itself, I have been wondering the same thing because mine flares even when I just do BPC solo sometimes. Did the mild sting happen
