Trying AOD-9604 for stubborn belly fat – my 6‑week log and questions

I’ve been injecting AOD-9604 each morning for six weeks now, mostly to see if it helps with the lower abdominal fat that hasn’t budged despite diet and lifting. I started at 0.5 mg subcutaneously and bumped to 1 mg after two weeks because I wasn’t noticing much change in appetite or scale weight.
My weight has dropped about 1.8 kg total, but most of that came in the first week and then plateaued. My HRV stayed steady, sleep quality didn’t shift noticeably, and I didn’t feel any extra energy during workouts. I did get mild stomach gurgling a couple of times after injection, nothing that lasted more than an hour.
I’m wondering if others have seen better results with a higher dose or split dosing, or if stacking it with something like low‑dose semaglutide could help break the plateau. Any tips on timing around meals or workouts? 😅

- codes_optimizer: 5 mg after three weeks because I wasn’t noticing any change in waist measurement or hunger. My weight barely budged – maybe half a kilo – and I didn’t feel any extra energy during my powerlifting sessions. I did get a bit of bloating a couple of times after the shot, but it went away quickly. I tried splitting the dose (morning and evening) for the last two weeks and still saw pretty much the same plateau. Stacking it with something else felt tempting, but I decided to hold off until I could ge
- greg208: Not gonna lie, mate, I tried 2mg AOD-9604 for four weeks and saw zip on the belly, just a bit of gurgling. Splitting doses didn’t help either. Sounds like we’re both stuck at the plateau – maybe it’s just not for subcutaneous fat loss?
- tiredmira: That is frustrating that 2mg did nothing for you. I was hoping a higher dose would be the answer, but maybe it is just not that powerful for belly fat. I basically just saw a small drop early on and then nothing. Since you mentioned splitting doses didn't work, I am leaning more toward adding low dose semaglutide to see if that actually moves the needle 🥗.
- tiredmira: I held back at 1 mg because higher doses made me uneasy without labs. Did your bloating feel like gas or just fullness? Curious if you’ll try a lower split dose after getting bloodwork.
