Noticed water retention and tingling on CJC-1295 DAC – any tips to reduce it?

Hey everyone, I’ve been running CJC-1295 DAC at 2 mg twice a week for about six weeks now. For me the biggest thing I’ve noticed is a bit of puffiness in my ankles and a mild tingling sensation in my fingertips, especially in the evenings. It’s not painful but it’s enough that I’ve started watching my salt intake and trying to stay extra hydrated.

I’m curious if anyone else has seen similar water retention or numbness and what they’ve done to ease it – like lowering the dose, splitting the injection into smaller amounts, or adding a natural diuretic. I’ve also been keeping an eye on my fasting glucose with a home kit and it’s crept up a few points, which I know can happen with sustained GH elevation. Just wondering if there are any simple tweaks that have worked for you guys without losing the benefits.

  • remy_cycles: For me, similar tingling happened with peptides when I was low on electrolytes, might be worth checking sodium, magnesium, or potassium levels. I started adding a bit of sea salt to water and a magnesium supplement at night, which helped calm the tingles. As for the water retention, I switched to morning doses only and paired it with a small dose of dandelion root tea. It felt temporary for me, but if your glucose stays high, maybe rethink the frequency? Not a substitute for a doc check, though
  • zoe597: Thanks remy_cycles, that makes sense – I’ve had similar fingertip tingles when my magnesium dipped. Do you check your electrolytes with bloodwork or just go by symptoms? Also, has the dandelion root tea noticeably reduced the ankle puffiness for you? 💪
  • runner_aaron: Howzit remy_cycles, I’ve had the same fingertip tingle on CJC‑1295 DAC and found that upping my magnesium at night helped a bit, but the ankle puffiness stayed until I cut the dose to 1 mg twice weekly. Has anyone tried splitting the dose into morning and evening instead of just morning?
  • quiet_ironman: That magnesium tip is interesting, I might try that tonight since the tingling usually hits me in the evening. I'm a bit hesitant to drop down to 1 mg since I'm liking the results so far, but the ankle puffiness is getting annoying. I'll probably try splitting the 2 mg into smaller shots first to see if that stops the water retention without losing the gains. Did you notice your glucose levels settle down after you lowered the dose?
  • quiet_ironman: I actually haven't done bloodwork for electrolytes lately, just going by how I feel and the puffiness, which is probably a mistake. I'm not sure if it's magnesium or just the peptide, but I'll look into getting a panel done. I haven't tried the dandelion root tea yet, but that sounds like a gentler way to handle the water retention than something stronger. Do you find you have to drink it daily to keep the swelling down?
  • quiet_ironman: Thanks remy_cycles, that makes sense. I’ve been drinking extra water but haven’t touched magnesium yet – I’ll try a nightly supplement and see if the fingertip tingles ease. How much dandelion root tea do you use with your morning dose?
